nat mur will cure you in all areas.
thus, the chronic yeast infection, which is a result of some hormonal imbalance in the body should also get cured in the long run.
you may have to repeat the remedy after 2 to 3 weeks for some weeks if the symptoms return.
you may go for liquid dose and take 3 drops of the remedy with some 15 ml of water and sip it slowly in empty stomach and clean mouth.
dont take any food or water or brush teeth for next one hour.

Hooray, I thought I was the only one. I'd like to take a shot at the questionaire too, please. It's probably been about a year for me as well. But I guess I'll get to that...
1. Describe your main suffering?
A sort of waxy discharge on the outside of my vagina. I dont have a lot of discharge, but sometimes I experience single points that are very itchy, and I think I accumulate odor sometimes, I feel kind of uncomfortable wearing a skirt sometimes because I think I smell. It is also affecting my sex life, making me uncomfortable in general.
2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?
recently I obtained allergic rhinitis, I think. My doctor has not necessarily diagnosed me, for some reason, but the steroid nose spray they gave me seems to work pretty well. So I take that 1-2 sprays a day, and its been about 4 months.
And Ive gained a lot of weight probably from 160 in October to almost 180 now.
3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?
I am very uncomfortable with myself. I cant please my boyfriend and Im almost worried about our relationship because of it. And I guess its just because I feel ugly because of the weird constant cold, the broken vagina, and the extra weight.
4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?
That Im boring. Im really self-conscious and sometimes think I have no friends .but I know its not true.
5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?
I had an abnormal pap smear 2-3 years ago, but its been normal for probably 1.5-2 years. I began using the NuvaRing about a year ago, I think. I dont think I had an issue until several months after beginning its use. I really dont know why it happened; however, last month, while inserting a tampon, I somehow pinched my vagina with my thumbnail, and thought that it would be a good idea to put Neosporin on it. That irritated it a lot. I tried using several different wipes that burned. Recently, Ive been using a special wash and Vagisil cleansing pads and I think its somewhat subsided (or back to the regular annoyance).
6. Which time of the day you are worst?
not sure.
2.
7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?
Baths! And I love baths =( and I think its bad after sex which I havent had much of lately. The wipes Im using for yeast control work well for immediate itch relief (sometimes).
8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?
Im 24, and moved in with my boyfriend about a year ago, and I really feel ready to settle down, so Im not sure if that would affect me
9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?
Probably hot, not humid.
10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.
Pretty agreeable and I guess mild except with increased alcohol consumption, which is kind of frequent, Im kind of sarcastic, but hopefully in a funny way. Im dedicated to work, but lately at home Ive been really tired all the time.
3.
- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
I like the sounds of a thunderstorm and sometimes playing in the rain; I guess thumderstorms make me happy
- Do you like being consoled during your tough times? Yes, very much.
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?
music moves my soul, if thats what you mean. Smell has actually kind of gone in and out for me since my allergic rhinitis thing.
- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc? I have a weird thing where I bite my cuticles. They never look perfect enough, and Im always trying to fix them.
- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife? I have a couple of friends that I dont really want to be friends with, love my boybriend, and miss my high school friends who are 2 hours away (for the past 5 years). I love my family, but they certainly have their quirks which I am fully aware of.
11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?
I have nightmares repeatedly. Probably 4 nights a week I wake up several times at night, and frequently remember horrible weird things. I often wake up sweating. Recently, Ive had dreams of being bitten and chased by a huge snake, being attached by a vampire thing that I read about in a book before going to sleep and other things that I cant describe.
12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?
I think I drink coffee in the morning just to have liquid sugar. And I love starchy foods potatoes, bread, pasta, yum. I dont really like shellfish or sushi, its a texture thing.
13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?
recently, excessive
14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?
excessive
15. Is there any kind of food which your body cant stand?
I kind of get sick often after some meals (not sure what it is about them ) I just have a sudden urge to go to the bathroom #2
16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs? Normal, except at night, I sweat a lot. I might use too many blankets because I love being warm...or maybe Im running in my dreams.
17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?
regular
18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?
on either side, curled up knees in
19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?
no.
20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?
I dont start conversations, but can join along in them very well I think Im boring to be around.
21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?
yeast control wipes by vagisil and I think its called Free and Gentle vaginal wash. I just bought Yeast Guard Advanted with the active ingredients of candida parapsilosis 28x and pulsatilla 28x but I havent started taking them yet.
22. What major diseases are running in your family?
none
23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance.
59 medium build, long brown hair. Ive recently gained a lot of weight, but its been pretty well distributed so I dont look too bad, but I need to shop for better fitting clothes. I would not like to be seen in a bikini, I have jiggly fat on my stomach and legs =(
Please help! Thanks.

I am not a homeopath, but I like to think I have conquered these pesky yeast infections. Sugar and starch feed yeast. Alcohol feeds yeast. Cut these completely out and you will lower your blood sugar levels which constantly feed the yeast. Get your blood sugar tested to be sure you are not diabetic or pre-diabetic.
Cutting out carbohydrates is very hard for the first ten days. You have to go through those first days without carbs to get rid of the cravings, but after that they are gone! Your body will thank you for it!

I had to consult Wikipedia for a full description of carbohydrates (I know the jist of it but I wantes a list...) I was fully unuaware that items such as bran and other cereals are in this classification, as well as milk (lactose) and fruits.
Do you think I need to cut out all these complex carbohydrates or just obvious things like simple sugar, alcohol, and bread/potatoes? And is it all types of alcohol that cause a problem? Just checking...

For the first two weeks, it is necessary to cut all carbs. But then afterwards, you can start to add in very small amounts. I mean very small, just to see what you can handle and what you can't. Probably you would want to be a few months off of most carbs to let your body detox the yeast. Another problem comes in that when you eat strictly low/no carb, you lose weight and have no cravings, but when you one day eat rice, or bananas, you may gain several pounds in one day (I gained six), and that indiscretion brings back the cravings. So it is not that you can never have carbs, ever, ever, but for the forseeable future.
Beer has carbs. Wine has carbs. Gin, vodka, and whiskey have no carbs, but alcohol in general is not recommended on an anti-yeast diet because of its effect on the liver. Google 'alcohol and yeast infections' to get more info, and also see my post on the previous page.
You are lucky to catch this early, and to be able to find out what to do about it. I suffered for years, but now that I eat mostly protein and low carb vegetables, I rarely have one. I have been eating this way for several years now, and the only time I have trouble is when I fall off the wagon. I love fruit, and I can get by with a little, but not a lot.
It's a new way of living, but worth it!

I have the SAME damn problem! my DR just says it will go away with these pills but it always comes back. me and my boyfriend have no sex life because of it also. its driving me crazy and messing up my life.
PS my pappas wife told me she had the same problem for 10 years and turns out it was never yeast....it was a nerve damage.

Hi Excel 1;
Time to cure depends in the reaction of your body's immune system and according to the stage of the disease and tissue affected. Homeopathy helps your organism to react counter the disease increasing your vital force (Immunologic system)and giving the adecuated balance to regenerate the derange organ or tissue.
In your case I think that it could be good to begin by taking the following remedies:
1. Berberis 6c for 5 days 3 times a day to clean the the urinary system
2. Cannabis Sativa 6c on the morning plus solidago virga 6c at evening for the next 5 days
3. Chlamydia Trichomasis 200c every 15 days.
Let me know if you have any question.

Those with yeast infections don't give up. I had a horrible systemic yeast infection for years, painful burning skin and went on a very strict candida diet and took a Chinese herb for yeast (Phellostatin). I was very near suicide from the pain as it felt like having poison oak on over 70% of my body all of the time. Tinnea developed too and skin would itch so intensely and then I would scratch and it would bleed.
Good diet is absolutely essential to healing. The book, The Ecology Diet, is an excellent book to use as a guideline and they have recommendations for supplements and herbs that can help fight yeast. Here is what I did:
Lots of vegetables, mostly steamed and in soups. Greens are excellent, as are members of the cabbage broccoli family. But no peas, sweet peppers, carrots or potatoes for the first six months. In other words avoid all sweet vegetables for the first six months.
No fruits, except lemons for the first year and longer if needed. You may find that surprisingly even without the fruit that you get fewer colds. I recommend taking vitamin C in any case to replace what you are not getting.
Absolutely no carbs, but I used buckwheat.
No vinegars or fermented foods.
No dairy products including yogurt. To get acidophillus take pro-biotic tablets.
Fish, poultry, beef, etc., are fine, but you should not eat any kind that would contain other foods such as apples, sugar, e.g., sausages are out as are most hams or smoked meats.
Cook your own food so that you know what is in it. Throw away any sugar that you have so that you won't be tempted to use it. Restaurant foods often have sugar added, which is why you should avoid eating in them. If you must eat at a restaurant (for work event or party) ask that your food be prepared so that no sugar is added. Salmon is good as are salads.
Make your own salad dressings with olive oil and lemon for the same reason. No catsup or mustard as these often contain sugar. Read all labels.
Because I sometimes had cravings for sweets I worked out something that I would allow myself that didn't seem to exacerbate the symptoms. I made my own hot chocolate as comfort food and allowed myself a cup in the evening every other night and no more. I used Rice Dream rice milk with natural raw unsweetened cocoa powder and sweetened with stevia. I used the chocolate very sparingly. If I had any sign that it was causing problems I discontinued.
For six months I was on a very strict diet, gradually allowing myself more of the sweeter vegetables. After a year I introduced blueberries. Then other berries such as raspberries. Still no really sweet fruits such as melons and no fruits that mold easily. Absolutely no dried fruits at all because the sugars are concentrated.
It is likely you will lose weight on this diet. You may notice that your energy levels go up at first and you will feel great. If you had bloatedness and gas these may disappear altogether. Mucous in stools will go away. White coating on tongue will clear up, you should have fewer colds, less brain fog, less irritability.
However, after awhile you may notice that your energy levels may drop as a consequence of the weight loss. This often means overtaxed adrenals from burning fat (if you were overweight). You should take adrenal support at this point. Also no coffee as coffee is hard on the adrenals.
It took me almost two years to get the candida down to where it was manageable. I still had candida I think in my GI tract. I went to a homeopath for a remedy to help me with the rest. She gave me a remedy for my constitutional type. Not sure it was my remedy, but the next morning I passed a three-foot long candida sprue as white as angel hair and looking like seaweed floating in the toilet . This was shocking as this was two years after I had been over the worst of it. I had considered myself 90% improved. I wonder what it would have looked like during the worst time. It would have probably been 10 times as long. I am not convinced I have completely gotten yeast out of my system, but I think I have gotten to a much healthier place and I still avoid sugar and goodies and breads.
I hope that this is of some help and encouragement to those who suffer this painful and debilitating illness.

elena3,
I recommend that you repost your questionnaire in a new post/thread outside of this one and address to Rishimba. Answer his questions fully and with thought. Include ALL information about yourself and he will help you discern your remedy. It may take time to find the right one, but it is worth it. I have been having wonderful success curing this 'yeast' problem through this website after trying diet, hormones and antibiotics. Nothing works but my homeopathic remedy.
good luck

I just came across this group and wanted to say hi. It is great to see a group so passionate about helping out others. A lot of people just don't seem to realize how beneficial groups like this can be when dealing with such things like yeast infections. It is for this reason that we need to make sure that there are active discussions going on and that the information is available. It makes for a healthier, happier life over the long run. It was for this same reason that I started my personal blog on yeast infections. For those that are interested, you can find it here: bit.ly/4WG5tI
I hope that people finding this group, like I did, will gain knowledge of Candida and be able to use it to improve their quality of life.

To ANYONE that has ever suffered from a constant yeast infection.
DO NOT TAKE ALEVE. I've encountered that ALEVE will trigger a yeast infection. This goes as well for some other forms of sulfate type drugs like NAPROXEN, etc.
I cured mine by consuming lots of Potassium within healthy doses.
Everytime I took Aleve it would come back within seconds from taking it.
HOPE THIS HELPS and GOD BLESS

Hello, I am desperately looking for help as well. My mom has suffered from these for years and has finally gotten in under control by switching her diet to purely proteins and vegetables. I am to my limit with this as it has been affecting my love life, and personal life, and its such a pain. I have tried to eliminate all sugars and have been taking aloe vera, oregano oils, doing enemas for colon health, drinking apple cider vinegar, and taking pro biotics. While I cant have a complete carb free diet or I think I will go even more nuts (lol) I have eliminated all white sugars and am eating only whole grains or spelt flower, etc. I have also opted for only sugar free products. I am answering the below questionnaire in hopes that someone will be able to help me with this issue :( I can not live with eating a diet of purely vegetables and proteins... isnt there another answer? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated in getting this treated... I was thinking of doing a colonix as well professionally thinking that this may help since yeast tends to live in the colon as well....

Please answer the following questions in a descriptive manner after careful analysis and recollection of previous experiences and happenings.
1. Describe your main suffering?
Vaginal Yeast Infections, often causing itching in both my vagina area as well as around my anus, burning sensation during sex and often when wiping after the bathroom, discharge, skin rash and sometimes what feels like small cuts (although i was told by my doctor my vagina is very sensitive and sex or wiping too hard may cause this)
2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body? fatigue
3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings? depression
4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst? it is uncontrollably itchy and I am squirming around trying to find any ease I can to stop the uncomfortable feeling. 5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease? I have been suffering from yeast for about 4 years now but it really started about 2 years ago and I thought it was from the Nuva ring that I was on. I switched off of it and it started to get better but then continued to happen. I had at this time begun eating real foods again like red meat and white flour as previously I had been very restrictive and was always on extreme diets and very picky but had recently discovered these foods as I had met my boyfriend who is a chef and opened my eyes up to the endless possibilities of food. They at first were not very frequent and when I switched off the nuva ring they soon went away only to return again throughout the course of the 2 years, and now have stayed for 2 months straight. I have just gotten an IUD put in and had one before I got it in and since then it has not gone away.

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times? Yes very much
- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc? Yes I am, my body is very sensitive
- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc? i do pick my nails, sometimes causeless weeping,

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly? Yes I constantly dream about the past and things that have happened and/or the future. In regards to past relationships and places that I have lived. I have fears of being alone.
12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions? I crave sugar a lot but have since cut out sugar from my diet which has not helped the yeast. I am now having sugar free items to cut the cravings and they have reduced significantly.

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs? My sweat is pretty consistent and normal
17. How is your bowel movement and stool type? My bowel movements are infrequent and I have began to incorporate more fiber into my diet as much as possible to get them more regular along with doing an enema once every two weeks to cleanse my colon fro the yeast. My stools are generally not too hard or soft and are often long since when I do have to finally go the bathroom it is a lot.
18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping? I dont sleep very well since I have kittens and they have been tending to wake me up in the mornings. I tend to go to sleep very late and wake up very early. I sleep on my back.

I am 22 years old. I had mono about 6 months ago and since then I have had constant vaginosis and yeast infections. Before I had mono I maybe got a yeast infection 4 times in the past 8 years I have been sexually active.
Since then I have been with one person but at the time before getting mono i had unprotected sex with multiple partners. I did get tested for stds afterwards (which was negative) and have had muliple paps since then. I did have abnormal cells in my vagina and had to get chunks cut out of my cervix for them to test (coloscopy). (I cried after this experience it was terrible)
Is it true that my bf and I can be passing this back and forth to each other? Does the mono have anything to do with it? How can he be treated if we are passing it back and forth? I eat yogurt everyday and stopped drinking coffee what else should i do!? I do smoke and also take birth control. I have noticed my yeast infection goes away when I get my period.
I am so saddened by this and it weighs me down because I do not know what to do at this point. My doctor has not been helpful at all!!!!!!!!!
Please help me..........

I have a similar issue. The first time I had a yeast infection was about a year & a half ago. Recently I had another yeast infection, about 2-3 weeks ago. I wasn't aware of it until I had sex & it burned really bad. That was on a saturday, the following monday I went to the wellness center in my school & got medicine similar to the leading brand Monistat. It worked. I started my period last sunday & just got off of it this past sunday, & I'm already getting symptoms of a yeast infection again. I'm on the birth control Seasonique. I've been on this for 2 & a half years. During these 2 & a half years i've had about 3 or 4 yeast infections. Is there a pill my doctor can perscribe me to prevent these yeast infections from re-accuring? Whenever the itching starts to bother me i use Vagisil external cream & that helps for a little bit. Normally it bothers me most in the evening. & it's gotten to the point where i've rubbed/scratched it raw & it started to swell. Normally at night if it's bothering me I put a cold wet cloth on it to sooth the irritability. It works for the most part. I'm only 16 & i've only ever had sex with one person, & the only time i had sex while having a yeast infection was where i mentioned earlier that's how i found out. I normally get them before & after my period, but i only get my period once ever 3 months due to my birth control. I figured that could be one of the reasons I get them is because I only get my period once every three months..But if anybody can help me out I'd appreciate it. Please & thank you (: Also if anybody knows anything about a pill to take to stop the re-accurance please let me know what it is so i can ask my doctor about it. Thank youuu.

Hi- you have to get off that pill. There is already
an ongoing lawsuit for another pill that limits
periods. None of the birth control pills are good for you. Being 16, you don't know and I have gone thru
this with many young women etc who are not on
any pill, bc it messes up your cycle and your hormones, and it is a overdose of hormones in some
way for every person.
There is an entire thread on this forum for melasma-
I think almost every person on it is or was on the pill.
The pill fools the body into thinking it is pregnant
and one thing in pregnancy is called mask of pregnancy
where skin turns dark in places. That happened to me
after 2 months on the pill and took 5 years or so
to fade away.
So. #1. get another birth control method- no pill,
and no IUD. It is well worth it to have your health
and go to more trouble to use other birth control.
#2. this could well be a problem with your yeast
bc your cycles are not normal.
#3. Go back to wellness center and keep using monistat and talk to them about this- but at same
time be off the pill.
#4. Change your diet and start taking 8 strain probiotics 2 to 3 times a day to replenish the
right bacteria to kill the yeast.
#5. there is no pill for this- only a thing called
diflucan which they will give you maybe once in
your life- it kills the yeast but is hard on the liver-
so that is like a one time help, but will only be
temporary.
#6. you can look up national directory of naturopath drs. and go see one or call one bc they
have things like the monistat but are vitamin inserts
etc - called Vag pacs to treat the yeast and they
can educate you on diet and the rest.
#7. You can do a separate post- see front bottom
of forum- and put your case on here for treatment-
but Treatment boosts your vital force to put things
right. So you cannot be taking this pill and messing
up your immune hormonal system and then trying
to make the body work with something that is
actively wrecking how the body works.
