One Year old with ECZEMA
My Son is now 11 months old and turning one year on March 3rd/2007.He has ECZEMA since birth, had it since one month old. Its very bad on his hands, legs, Neck and his scalp( Dnadruff like condition) His itching is worse during the night, will wake up Itching middle of the night, there is some honey like substance ozzes out while Itching and some times Blood.
Recently he had Weezing and severe Chest congestion where he was admitted to Emergency for two days with trouble breathing. He was on medication , steroids and he is currently doing fine, still on Nebulizer (With Pulmicort and Albuterol medications).
His Weezing is gone now, Doctors havent confirmed it as Asthma as it is his first occurance.
He has allergies for Milk, Rice, Wheat, Soy, Egg White, Egg Yellow and Oats. He is on Elecare formula for Milk. We have a Allergist appointment on March 20th ,2007. Can not wait to find answers for my son's condition.
We are living in Delaware, USA. it is very cold during winters.
