child with recurring ear infections/watery eyes etc.
HelloI'm new here and hope that someone will be able to help me.
My daughter is 21 months old and has had three ear infections in the past month.
All have been diagnosed with antibiotics from her doctor. She is on them again (the third time) as well as antibiotics for what the doctor has diagnosed as Pink eye.
Personally I don't want to continue to give her these antibiotics anymore. I'd like to try something different. Something more natrual.
she had a cold a while back - nasal congestion. The doctor diagnosed her with basically a sinus infection.
Along with the stuffed up nose her right eye was a bit puffy, red underneath (looked like someone gave her a shiner) and yellowish discharge.
This was a little over a month ago. Three ear infections later, her eye started to water again - like it did with her cold. Though this time no cold.
It had a minute amount of discharge to it, but mostly it was watery and looked glossy.
I personally don't think it's pink eye, however I'm not a doctor so what do I know :)
The health food store gave me some Acidophilis and some Similasan Healthy Relief for Pink eye.
What can I give her for her recurring ear infections?
Also, a friend of mine recommended pulsatilla. Does anyone here have more info on this?
Thanks so much, I really appreciate your time.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
For recurring ear infections Psorinum 1M is the best medicine. You may not be able to get it in USA or Canada.
In that case try Sulphur 30C twice a day for a week.

So what are her symptoms now?
Everyone who takes antibiotics should take Acidophilus or other probiotics=gooh bacteria.
It does not interfere with hom. treatment-but she should be done with antibiotics before starting it.
Similisan eyedrops are also fine.
