hypothyroidism cure

i treated my wife's hypothyroidism by giving her one dose each of sulphur 200c, calc carb 200c, and lycopodium 200c respectively within the gap of 24 hours 20 months back in may 2006. her symptoms such as lethargy, sleepiness, and body pain improved and her TSH level dropped from 10.5 to 3.
There was not much change in her excessive belly fat. but after five months her symptoms began to come back, but with lesser severity. i gave her the same three medicines in same potency for three consecutive days as i did earlierbut this time i repeated the three medicines after a week, and one more time after one week. after this administration, she did not experience the kind of drastic positive change that she had had after the first treatment. one month ago i checked her TSH and found that it was six and now she has all the above said symptoms though not in its initial severity.
Can't i cure her hypothyroidism permanently through homeopathy? if yes, what should i do?
please reply to me.
regards,
Thahir.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is highly unlikely that she needed all 3 of these medicines.

Probably one of them helped, and you need to find the one which actually helped, and then repeat that one as a single dose of higher potency i.e. 1M.

If she is all dry, next stage is Bryonia.

dear sameer,
thank you very much for your response. which of the three remedies--sulphur, calc carb, and lyco--will suit her best now?
her present symptoms are:
lethargy, tiredness, sleepiness, lack of interest to do something, body pain, lack of freshness even after eight or nine hours sleep, sexual debility as if nerves become weak after she is really aroused, itching in the armpit following perspiration, forgetful, and slightly angry.
she has excessive belly fat; she is 150CM tall and weighs around 55KG.
do you require any more details?
Regards,
Thahir.

I am inclined towards Calcarea.

However , can you please answer these:

1) Is she a responsible person ?

2) Does she have any fears ?

3) Can you correlate any event/stress to the start of her problems ?

Sameer.

dear sameer,
i shall answer your questions.
my wife is a responsible woman. she has no mentionable fears. she most probably developed this disorder following her giving birth to our one and only child who is now three and a half years old.
hoping to hear from you,
Thahir.

Okay, some more info is needed. Can you please confirm from the patient, these:

1./) Has she started losing connection with those around her, even the ones she loves ?

2./) Does she make sarcastic remarks during her anger ?

3./) Does she like company or she prefers to be alone?

4./) How about weeping ? Does she weep? Is she sad?

5./) Does she form grudges ? Does she dwell on disagreeable things from the past ?

6./) Does she feel better with consolation or does she reject consolation when offered ?

Sameer.

dear sameer,
it seems her emotional attachment with me ie, her husband has dwindled after she has developed hypothyroidism. but i can't say anything certain about her relationship with others around her.
i am not able to say a definite yes or no regarding your other questions.
thahir.

Hmm.. since you are not able to provide full information, I will go with a remedy that worked previously.

Take a single dose of Calcarea Carb 1M.

Then wait for atleast 2 weeks to see the effects.

If there is no change, my inclination is towards Sepia. However, since you couldn't answer the questions, I cannot say for sure.

Anyways , try the Calcarea first.

dear sameer,
as you instructed me, i gave my wife calc carb 1Mten days back. but her symptoms persists. not only that, she has developed one more symptom-pain in breasts. hair loss was her earlier symptom which i forgot to tell you.
one more thing i forgot to tell you. ihad given her 1M of sulph, calc carb, and lyco in the initial stage two weeks after the first administrationof the three remedies in their 200C potencies. but after that, i gave her the three remedies three or four times always in 200C
potencies.
now that i gave her calc carb 1M, do you think she will require 10M? or should i wait for some more days or should we think about changing the medicine? personally i feel that all her symptoms point to calc carb itself.
what is your opinion about trying thyroidinum 6X?

Unless you answer the questions I have asked in my previous posts , it is tough for me to prescribe anything.

sameer,
i shall once again try to answer your earlier questions.
as i have already told you, there has been a dwindling in her relationship with melately.she says she does not like to dwell on disagreeable things of the past and that she does not form grudges.
sometimes she prefers company and some tines loneliness.
she likes to be consoled most often. yes, she makes sarcastic remarks and throws at others whatever disagreeable things that comes to her mind when she is angry.

have i answered you satisfactorily?

Hi ,

When you say she 'throws' things , do you mean objects, or do you mean just verbal words that she throws ?

Yes, now we can move forward. These answers will help greatly.

Sameer.

sameer, what i meant was throwing words, not things.

How is her confidence level these days ?

Does she start new things easily ?

How is she with people outside the family ?

If I may interject here and ask a question of the poster, the last remedy given in this sequence was which?

Sure , go ahead :)

By the way , do check your yahoo mail.

Thank you, and will do. You took longer than I expected though, you're almost as stubborn as me ;)

Hehe, maybe I am ;)

sameer,
yes, she starts new things easily. her relationship with people outside the family is okay; quite normal.

dear mr organon,
the last remedy given to her was Calcarea Carb 1M twelve days back.

There are 2 remedies which come to mind for this case. Sepia and Graphites. I am more inclined to Sepia but let us delve deeper.

A few more questions:

1./) How does she respond to music ? Does it ever make her weep ?

2./) Does she have a strong craving for open air ?

3./) Is she improved when she does vigorous excercise ?

4./) Does she ever weep and then knows not why she wept ?

5./) Does she yell at her children too ?

Sameer.

sameervermani last decade
Dr O, what are your thoughts on this ?

sameervermani last decade
music does not make her sad. it seems she does not have such an attraction for sad songs. she is not of a weepy nature. when i scolds or accuses her, for example, she appears to be more retortive than sad. of course, she does yell at her one and only child. there is a general lack of tenderness in her behaviour towards her family. there occurs a downwards change in her body pain and tiredness as the day progresses, from noon onwards.
this could be because her body get heated after she moves about in and around the house. she does not indulge in vigourous exercises otherwise.
her pain and tiredness are seen to be generally aggravated in the morninngs.
she does not have a strong craving for open air.
thahir.

Dear Mr. Thahir,

It seems her medicine is Sepia.

Get Sepia 30C in pellets form. Take a 500 ml spring water bottle.

Put 2 pellets in it. Leave them for a while. They will dissolve in about 15-20 mins. Then turn the bottle gently a few times to mix it.

You have to give her 3 doses from this bottle on 1 day . 1 dose is 1 teaspoon using a disposable spoon.

Space the doses as evenly as possible. Then no more doses after these three. Do preserve the bottle , as the same bottle will be used later too.

Wait for 4 days, after these 3 doses, and then, report status here.

Good luck.
Sameer.

sameervermani last decade
Also, no food or brushing of teeth for 1 hour on either side of the doses.
