very itchy eye with conjuctiva swelling

my right eye itches frequently in the morning. I've had it happening for about the last year, on and off. I thought I had developed an allergy to eggs, because it seemed to happen after I ate them, but now it's after other foods too. Can you help?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Try Ferr Phos 6X - 4 tablets at a time twice a day. Observe for a few days and post feedback.

Meanwhile provide more symptoms. How did it start, modalities, your cravings, etc.

sorry it's taken me a while to reply. Haven't started the Ferr phos yet, but will try to get some this weekend. The eye problem started about a year and a half ago, It would happen on Saturday mornings, after breakfast. The only time that I was eating eggs was on Saturday mornings. I figured out after a few Saturday mornings that it had to be egg related. Then I noticed it was after I ate anything with egg in it (cake, cookies, muffins, other foods with egg). Cravings - I crave some things with sugar -ice cream, cookies, sweets. Used to crave candy but not too bad anymore. I know I can't eat too much sugar or I'll get a yeast infection. I won't do the sugar free Candida diet though, too hard for me. I found out about 2 1/2 years ago that I have Hemochromatosis. I had too much iron in my blood. I went and gave blood every 2 weeks for a couple of months and got the iron down and that seemed to help the yeast situation. I haven't had a yeast infection since then, but the egg/eye problem started after that. When I do get the itching in my eye, it gets intensely itchy in the inside corner and a couple of minutes later the conjunctiva swells and looks like it has a clear blister on it. It gets better after a few minutes, but takes about a day to clear up all the way. This might be too long sorry.
