Sore Throat / Strep Throat

For the last 2 days I have severe sore throat. I just recovered from strep throat and was on antibiotics for 10 days. As soon as the medicine got over, the symptoms are back. I have great difficulty in swallowing. Drinking hot liquid is the only thing that is giving me some relief. I do not have fever or cold. But I cannot eat or sleep.
Please suggest something for me. I am thinking belladonna but I may be wrong.

Please take Hepar sulph. 30 three doses for 2 to 3 days. If you see improvement in between reduce the doses and taper off.

I tried beladonna yesterday (I was in a lot of pain and no one had responded to my post by then) and it did not help at all.

I will try hep sulph today and report.

I took hepar sulph yesterday as advised and my throat pain is almost gone. I cannot believe it was so effective. I was unable to eat or drink before that, and now I have no difficulty whatsoever.

Here are my questions:
Strep throat is contagious - How contagious is it when I am taking homeopathy medicines?
How long do I continue taking Hepar Sulph? I dont want it to relapse again - should I taper it off gradually or continue the dosage for a couple of more days?

Thank you so much for your help - I am cancelling my doctor's appointment and am sticking to homeopathy.

THanks for your feedback. If its not bothering you anymore, there is no need to take further doses.(Homeopathic remedies are not like antibiotics which are needed to be completed their full course usually) But if the remnant is there say 25% you can finish off the remnant by taking 2 more doses 10-12 hours apart.

It's a bit difficult to say how contagious the problem would be as it depends upon factors like what's going on with the vital power/immunity in people who are near the person who's having contagious problem.

I have some new updates to share and I look forward to your guidance. I do not have any more pain the throat and i do not feel the lump or constriction inside anymore either.
However I have experiencing this bouts of dry cough from time to time. It starts with a tickling sensation in the throat and soon my eyes water up and I have this choking cough which cannot be controlled. I am fine for a while before it starts again. Its happening all day long, and even when I am sleeping. Is it normal to have this after strp throat or is this a new ailment?

How many Hepar sulph doses did you take?

If the symptoms go away on their own do nothing. If they persist, you can take Spongia 30 a few doses after observing for a day.
