Only proven remedy pls - Short timed Erection (doesn't last long and drops when I'm awake....not so when I'm half asleep)
Hi Doctors,As described in the subject line, my problem is that my erection doesn't last long and drops in about a minute or so. It is hard while it lasts.
This results in problems like during foreplay, erection is fine but drops as I'm about to enter. Even during Masturbation it's the same so I don't really think it's anxiety.
I have a history of Marijuana use (past 5 - 6 years). Have almost stopped for the past 3 months.
I have no other medical condition.
Please suggest a proven remedy for my condition.

I forgot to add - my erections seem to be much better and long lasting when I'm half asleep (don't know when I'm fully asleep, but it would be fine then as well I feel). Not so when I'm awake during daytime

I have tried Nux Vomica 30 earlier for 3 days (2 - 3 doses per day) but there was no noticeable improvement. Do you suggest that I try this remedy again?

Ok, I tried Nux Vom 30C again (for 2 - 3 days, one dose per day)... no noticeable difference, still erection time is short.
I'm describing my problem in other words below, in case I missed out on something earlier:
I'm 28 years old, un-married guy (about to get married). My problem is as below:
1) Erection lasts for a very short while. Like during foreplay when I get a good erection, and just when I proceed towards intercourse (start removing clothes), it drops!! And it doesn't come back again till I have forgotten about having sex that day.
2) If I enter as soon as my erection comes, I face the problem of premature ejaculation
3) Both the above problems get totally OK when I take a dose of Viagra before the act, and can make love for hours, but I don't want to take Viagra all my life!! And I don't even want my would-be wife to know, it will be so embarassing.
4) I have a bit of male pattern hair loss and much of my beard hair has turned grey
5) I have a good atheletic body apart from a belly which refuses to go away. I have reduced it a lot by exercise but it's still not showing me clear six-pack abs
6) I used to smoke marijuana for the last few years but have now quit
7) I'm very focused on health and fitness. Do not like to shake hands with people or touch things like handles or toilet doors coz i have a fear of catching some infection
8) I have trouble getting up in the morning, feel very very sleepy
Please suggest a good remedy, specially keeping in mind points number 1 and 2 at the top

I also wanted to know are homeopathic medicines harmful? Can they have side effects? I've heard that if the remedy is not right, the person may end up 'proving' it i.e. will start getting the same symptoms it's supposed to cure, if that is correct, the homeo medicines are very very dangerous. ... Thoughts??

Rishi I found you case interesting and spent the evening studying it. I am a practicing homeopathy in Spokane WA USA. Firstly I must say you post a nice case, I wish every one I treated had symptoms as clearly defined as yours.
based on the rubrics I used,
and the fact that the case appears to me one of a sycotic nature I narrowed it down to 3 remedies:
lyc, phos, calad
I need a bit more info to help me differentiate
can you tell me anything that generaly makes you fell bad or owrse?
And the same for better, are the things you know you can do in general to make you self feel a bit better, for example if i am not feeling my best i am always certian Ill feel a but better after a shower..

Thank you for your response. Below is the info you asked for. I'm assuming that we're talking about my overall good or bad feeling and not just sexually:
Things which make me feel better:
1) Sleeping till late in the morning
2) Generally keeping awake till late night (watching movies, internet, some music etc etc)
3) Junk food like Pizzas, Burgers, Coke and other sodas
4) Partying and binge drinking with my friends
5) Being in the company of cute and beautiful women
6) Spending time with my parents (I'm single currently)
7) Sometimes smoking Marijuana and trippin on music with friends
8) Doing Yoga and Pranayaam in the traditional way.
9) Studying ancient scriptures from Hindu culture....scriptures about Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and similar stuff, it's so kool
10) Discussing spiritual matters with like minded friends after doping and even otherwise
Things which make me feel bad:
1) If too much discipline is imposed on me (though i like things to be in order overall)
2) Having to getup early morning or not getting enough sleep - has a real bad effect on me
3) If someone tries to boss me around
4) Dumb people and people who have no idea about the finer things in life, people who just exist
5) I hate bad mannered people, who don't know how to behave socially
6) Don't like extreme weather
Can't think of more points right now. Please let me know if this is sufficient or I need to jot some more down :)

Rishi thank you for the clarifacation. I recomend a singel dose of 200C Phosphorus. If you use alot of stimulants, coffe, tabaco ect... you may need daily dosing, i however prefer the single dose method as it is less chaotic and easier to monitor results.

I have reversed my erection problems with good nutrition. It involves removing carcinogens and oxidants from my diet and having a robust exercise program. It also calls for strict doctor monitoring by both my primary care physician and urologist. But with that I use a lot of herbals to balance out my own situation. I highly suggest Doug Kaufman's Phase I diet and then the Phase II. He will not starve you out and you will find improvement in sexual conditions in your health. In my case I had a prostate the size of a Florida grapefruit and his diet allowed me to live with it. Eventually the urologist will laser it but until then I'm on all the herbs that alleviate the symptoms. But I also masturbate 3 times per day and they last up to 2 hours each. I'm very careful about mineral and fluid replacement and my chems are tested every 3 months. But I do have changing levels of magnesium, calcium, potassium and sometimes creatinin.
