ask him to stop salt in all forms. take at max 1-1.5 liters of water per day including tea/milk,..if possible as him to take milk and water..no coffee/tea..

try to keep the patient in AC so that he does not feel thirsty..

keep a track of his water intake and urine output... it should be almost same... if there is a major difference then ask to medicine in any pathy which will increase his urine output.Ayurvedic medicines helps in reducing swelling and urine outout..

ask some one on this/other forum for increasing urine output.

best wishes for your patient,
Neeraj.

Respected sajjadakram635, Thank you for your valuable suggestions.
Please prescribe me the doses of Apocynum or Apis, the power and format (liq. or granules). Will Lycopodium work in this condition? some doctor has suggested this.

In this forum I have found the article placed by you:
'Dr. S. Chakraborty*
Hon. Physician, Sardar Hospital, Jalpaiguri West Bengal. Dr. M.K. Chattopadhyaya** M (Pharm), Ph.D., FIC.

Principal,
Lithium Carbonate changes the electrolyte composition of body fluids and increased intracellular and total body water volume, Oedema can occur. With a view to the toxicology, Lithium Carbonate was prepared in Microform and applied to patients suffering from cirrhosis of liver with ascites and oedema. Some cases who developed hepatic encephalopathy were also given Microdose Lithium Carbonate.
It was observed curiously that Oedema and Ascites were gradually reduced; neurological symptom of hepatic encephalopathy improved and general symptoms like nausea, vomiting, malaise etc. disappeared with lithium treatment.

The clinical observations following microdose lithium, confirmed the investigators about the practical implication of the theory of 'CURING SIMILARS BY SIMILARS'.'.
Kindly guide me about the above article.

Thank you once more.

But pls. take advise from your doctors taking any ayurveic medicine.. we were told not take any bhasms bcoz they are very reactive and strong. they have quick impact on liver..

It is very a bad thing to suggest.. but be pls. ready for any eventuality and be brave and continue to fight for your patient..

Take care,
Neeraj.
