Subclinical Hypothyroidism
Hi,I am a 24 year man suffering from subclinical hypothyroidism(i.e my blood test TSH,T3/T4 are normal). But I always suffered from some problems that were quite symptomatic to the hypothyroidism may be since the age of 10.Only recently I came to know that these symptoms may be because of hypothyroidism.Following are some of my symptoms.
1.I feel more cold than others in a room or cold weather.I suppose this is cold intolerance. My exposed ears in a windy day are very susceptible to cold compared to other parts of face or body.
2.4 out of 7 days in a week,I feel that my mouth is making more saliva. Some days i can also feel my mouth is very dry.
3.The symptom 2 above i feel leads to loss of my fluency in speech and my words become non clear(particularly words involving tongue and palate)--stuttering.
Note that otherwise I am a good speaker and orator.
4.Above three symptoms lead some time to mild depression(particularly 2 and 3)when I
try to cut away from the world(friends, family, near dear ones).Sometimes I can see in their eye the odd behavior that comes out of me.This has led to a great damage to my social life.
5.Recently I have taken my Morning Basal body temperature(armpit) and found it to be 97F for 3-4 days.At other times it is near 98F.
Other Information:
I am 5'9'' weight;69 kG.A healthy body.Brilliant(as teachers used to say) all through my academic life(receipient of silver medal in International mathematical olympiad). An active sportsperson with no other sign of abnormality.Recently I moved to USA from India and my symptoms have worsened. My diet has been ,I will say more or less ,balanced.
A self -medication:I purchased raw thyroid glandular tablets from a health mart and have been taking it for last 2 weeks. And results have been more or less very good for all these two weeks. The only thing that has not improved is my basal body temperature that has remained at 97F around at morning wake ups.
Question:My question is:Am i really suffering from hypothyroidism?Or it is just a hallucination. My only point is my medication seemed to improve things.
If it is hypothyroidism is there a permanent cure in Homeopathy for this?I dont want to take synthetic hormones as i dont want to be slave of medication for my life(allopathy).I have suffered a lot because of this
and it is almost a carrear and social blocker for me.If homeopathy can have a permanent cure for this I will be thanking you all a lot.
-thanks

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Because of my thinking about the way in which the body works , I believe that the endocrinal system is closely involved in the immune system and therefore the glandular remedies are an underused resource.
I think [ but will probably be taken to task] that you are on the right track.
The Materia Medica of Glandular remedies is very useful .
If you look up homeopathic Thyroidinum you will find that it does ten to make people warmer.
Pineal and Thymus are also useful.
