enlarged adenoids and tonsils

Hi,

My 7 y.o. (soon to be 8) daughter has been diagnosed with significantly enlarged adenoids (by x-ray) and her tonsils are enlarged as well (2 out of 4). Dr. recommended steroids (nasal spray and oral) before considering surgery for adenoids (he didn't seem too worried about her tonsils). The nasal spray may be helping a little, but afraid to give her oral steroid. Prior to this, she had a sinus infection (her first), but was a mouth breather before then and tends to snore at night from time to time. She doesn't really have sleep apnea (we tried to listen and only noticed one episode), but wakes up almost every night and can't go back to sleep for a hour or more. Back when she was 6, another dr. diagnosed her w/ big tonsils but left decision of having surgery up to us. As far as we know, she doesn't have any allergies. Had a few episodes of strep throat when she was 6y.o. and bronchitis when she was less than 1 y.o. 2-3 ear infections when she was under 2, but none since then. Does very well in school and in competitive gymnastics; a very nice and pleasant child. What can I give her to shrink her adenoids? Thank you for your help in advance.

Thank you very much for the reply. What about Agraphis Nut (just ordered it). Should we try it as well? Cal Phos 6x is not going to be too strong? Do we put it under the tongue or in water?
