broken ankle & diabetic
Hello, are you able to give some advice, my overweight, diabetic mother slipped and broke her ankle, they were going to operate but have decided there is too much swelling and it would cause too many complications. I will get arnica to her, but when should we start symphytum or should we try something for swelling first? i would apprciate your guidance.busymama on 2009-04-09
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
It is much better to see orth. dr. rather than taking any other treatment. Surgery is must.

thank you for your reply.
They were going to operate this morning but decided that the swelling was too bad and would cause complications, so they have put a cast on it and are going to re assess in a few days. shall i not give her anything yet?

give mother 3 doses of symphytum 30 at a gap of 1 hr.
You may also give her rescue bach flower remedy. Add 10 drops of rescue dilution to some 100 ml water. Mother may be given 1 tsp therefrom frequently.
Give symphytum even if you have given arnica.
