Headache with stiffness in the neck
HelloI have headache with pain and stiffness in my neck with more intensity on the right side. The pain starts in the neck and then propagates to the back of the head and then to the front. There is pain under the eyebrow (again more on the right side). Sometimes the pain is on the left side and sometimes on both sides. I also feel pain in the jaw on the same side of headache sometimes. When I have the headache I am irritable to sound.
The headache increases a lot after any physical exertion (eg: aerobic exercise) or on exposure to cold weather.
I work in front of the computer all day. I have been suffering from this for about 6 months now.
Can you please suggest a remedy and let me know how often I need to take it.

Hello Neil,
Thank you for your response.
To start with my physical problems
1. I have had chronic backpain in upper back and neck (sometimes lower back) for about 2 years now. I have been diagnosed with a herniated disc in the C5-C6 area of my lumber spine. The headaches started about 6 months ago.
2. I have dandruff and an itchy scalp; sometimes have acne on the scalp.
3. I have chronic acne on the back and take medication to control it (the medicine is aldactone)
4. I have been suffering from constipation for about a year now
5. I have been diagnosed as having Poly Cystic ovary syndrome and take metformin for it.
6. I have been having really bad itching in the genitals for a couple of days right before my monthly period. This has been repeating every month for over a year.
When it gets worse
1. The headaches get worse after physical activity.
2. My neck seems stiffer in the mornings, I feel better in the afternoon. But the pian and stiffness increases at night again.
3. They also get worse in cold weather. I am very sensitive to cold weather. My hands and feet are always cold, and I can never get warm enough before going to bed.
4. The dandruff also increases in cold weather.
About my nature
1. I am a very friendly approachable person in general, but sometimes get very irritable (maybe when I am in pain or when I am stressed out)
2. I dont have a lot of energy in general. I get a burst of energy when I try to do a lot and then I have no energy again. I had more energy when I was working out but had to stop because of the headaches.
3. I sleep well in general, but have had restless sleep since the headaches started
Likes
1. I like warm weather, spicy food, chocolate
Dislikes
1. I dont like getting into arguments with people
2. I dont like being in crowed places or being the center of attention
3. I feel like I go into a mild depression in cold weather. I am much happier in warm weather.
Does this help in suggesting a medicine? If not, please let me know what more information I can provide.
Rajitha
