Heavy Hair Loss
Hi Doctors....I am a female-37 years old. I am having a problem of heavy hair fall for the last 20 years. Every winter, my hair start falling in winters from sep to feb. and from march, the probem, automatically starts disappearing. When hair gets out, there is some white material on the root of it.Is it fungal infection? Why it occurs in winters only?
Please Help!!! I am really upset...My hair are getting thinner..

Hey your discription of symptoms suggest me that there is no physical problems like itching, scaling etc, so i presume that it is just hair fall.
The hair is thinner due to the lack of protiens in the diet so add more protien diet and also for the question why is it coming in winter and not in summer, every individual is different and so you are presenting it like this, there is not medical explanation unless and untill you are having some dandruff or skin complaints like fungal infection i can corelate it to winter aggrevation.

Thanks a ton doctor!! Yes, you are right, there is no apperant itching or any other problem. But the white stuff at the root is very must apperant. because sometimes, 3-4 hair come out joint together with a white hard stuff. So, it is not only root. But still, I would try the medicine suggested by you and will let you know.
