Aurum Metallicum for Anxiety
Hi,I have been prescribed Aurum Metallicum, 10 drops 4x daily. My issue is this: I have an extremely crazy and unpredictable schedule, and taking it 4x a day is tough, because it means carrying my bottle with me at all times, whipping it out while I'm at a client meeting or travelling between appointments, etc etc.
Is it acceptable to take it on a different schedule, eg 20 drops 2x daily, or even 14 drops 3x daily (which would still be easier)? How rigid is the dosage schedule?
thanks,

What is the potency of Aurum Met that you are taking.

Aurum Met is a very deep acting anti-miasmatic remedy. It is generally taken in higher potency and in infrequent doses.
It is better you take 4 pills of kali phos 6x thrice a day for few days instead of aurum met and see whether it helps.

Thanks Kadwa. It was prescribed to me because I am transitioning off of Paxil, so I am taking the Aurum 12x as I start to get down to very low doses of Paxil. I suffered from severe social anxiety and moderate depression, which is why I went on the Paxil in the first place, but now want to get off due to side effects.
