Chronic Migraine and Constipation!
I am 29 yrs old female.I have a family history of migraine, My mother and grand mother had it, and all my siblings also have a similar problem.
I get two type of headaches, First one which gets triggered due to sunlight or cold(AC air),, this type of headache usually effects half part of the head right or left both are equally prone with the pulsating or throbbing feeling. If not treated within 2-3 hours, it gets worse with nausea. Do not get any relief by lying down, but if I put pressure on top of my head,, it subsides for the period the pressure is applied. I get relief by taking flexon (Paracetamol + brufen). frequency of such headaches varies from 1-2 times a week to once in two weeks. get bad headaches during and before periods. Also have severe period cramps which last till 3 days. And I am having this headache since the age of 12 but the frequency was very low till 17, may be 1-2 times in a year. but it increased with the age and in past 4-5 years it has become worse.
Second type of headache I have developed about 1-2 years back.. In this case at any time of the day, without any reason, I Start feeling severe pulsating pain in any part of the head, sometimes ears or even the mid of the head.. it causes blur vision and pain increases drastically on lying down, and Flexon does help relieve this type of pain. it last for atleast 3-4 days. Cause stress in nech throat and eyes.
Along with this I have a constipation problem as well, which is also a hereditary problem. My grand father had it but none of my parents have constipation nor does any of my siblings. I drink a lot of water,, at least 3 ltr a day. many a times I donot feel the urge to go for it,, and some times I feel but when I go,, nothing comes out. I take kayam churan to relieve the problem.
My thirst is normal and drink plenty of water.
Period cycle is normal but cramps are unbearable.
By nature I am very sensitive and like to be consoled in case of pain.
My BP usually measure at 110-100/60-65.
Kindly suggest a medicine.

Nux Vomica couldn't have any impact on your problems?

Your remedies are as follows:
Light triggered Migraine Glonoine 30c Dose 4 pellets sublingually. Repeat in 3 hours if necessary.
Normal Migraine Bryonia 30c Dose 4 pellets sublingually. Repeat as above.
It is important that you take the standard precaution of using Sunglasses when you are going from the dark interior to the bright exterior since you are sensitive to bright sunlight.
In the case of both types of Migrains it is important that you take the respective remedies as early as possible when you first notice that 'aura' which presages an oncoming attack.
If you notice that you are getting the migraines in a cluster attack like when you get them daily, you can take 2 pellets sublingually before you sleep even if you are not suffering from the migraine as this usually prevents them from bothering you the following day.
It is possible that you constipation may be the root cause of your Migraines.
Constipation A remedy that usually works is Nat Phos 6x dose 2-3 tablets taken after each of 2 meals. You must also eat fruits like Papaya, Bananas, Prunes and also drink plenty of liquids preferably water up to 3 ltrs daily.
Period cramps If accompanied by unusual bleeding Arnica 30c in the Wet dose.
Otherwise Mag Phos 30x dose 3 tablets as soon as you note the pain starting. Repeat every 3 hours.
Exercise is essential for at least half hour daily. You must sweat it out to keep fit.

thnaks Dr. Joe and Dr Kadwa..
Dr. Kadwa: After my last thread, I had to go out and I had lost the thread and couldn't follow the mentioned medicine. After coming back I have started a new one to start all over again.
Pl advice what medicine should I take? The medicines mentioned by Dr joe or Nux Vomica?
