10 month old slow weight gain doesn't stand on her feet
Hi,my 10 month old niece is weighting 7.9kg (17.4 pounds) and does not seem to have a very good apetite (still breastfed, but also gets solid food). Parents main concern however is that she's not keen on standing up so far. When she's held in upright position she will not put her feet down on the ground, but toss them in the air or just touch the floor with tipp toes, with sides of her feet and will bend her knees. Doctors recommend more exercises and massages to strengthen her leg muscles. She always had very intense leg movements, will constantly rub her feet together while being carried (they are always in action :). She started sitting on her own at about 8months, crawling at about 9. She's often scared of strangers and anything loud or sudden (will scream and it will take time to confort and calm her down.)
She was born naturally, quick and easy birth.
At the moment she's producing a lot of saliva (possible teething). Will belch a lot (while eating or afterwards) with a wet gargling sound...
Do you think Silica 30c would be a right remedy to try?
Thanks!
