Adenoids and Tonsils - 3.4 year old
I read the archives for treatment of adenoids and tonsils (enlarged) via Cal Carb and Agraph Nut. I tried the Agraph Nut for 10 days now 6x, thrice per day and he seemed improved day 1 and 2 but it has returned worse than ever. What else do you recommend? He snores loudly at night, mouth breathing and has been doing so for approximately 5 months now. Please help, maybe the dosages are too lowNewbieHomeo on 2010-07-06

Homeopathy is based upon individualization.Only a well selected personal remedy can give long lasting relief.
Its better to take the child to an expert Homeopath, as paediatric cases need more observation.

My niece severe adonoid problems continued till at age till age 10 gone, after minor surgery. My son's problem cured itself after age 14. But he had still some other continous sneezing and nose clogging problems inside house, cat allergy and outside grass allergies and now at age 17 that also disappeared. May be adonoid has problem from allergens in the house pets or plants but not sure.

My son suffered from extremely enlarged adenoids from infancy. When he was 4 or 5 I began using homeopathic remedies which helped for a while. At 6 he began suffering again greatly so we decided, after much consideration, to have them removed. I have no regrets because he rarely has sinus infections or stuffy nose and he sleeps much better. I would definitely recommend trying homeopathy first. Best wishes.
