Self-medication - please advise!
Hello everyone!I was wondering how dangerous it is to self-medicate, in less serious cases, such as acne, dandruff, allergies or weight control? In other words, what damage can the wrong remedy do to your system?
The thing is, consultations with professional practitioners where I live are very expensive, and the remedies themselves, not so much. I'm very interested in homeopathy, I'd like to use it to help myself, I've been doing a lot of research online as well as reading books, and I was hoping to get some guidance here on your forum.
Any advice is highly appreciated! Thank you in advance.

Dear Dragonfly, thank you for taking the time to reply. I only inquired about treating small issues with homeopathy, but I am going to fill out this questionnaire, see how it goes. It will take me some time though.
In the meantime, can anyone answer my original question please? What effects can a wrongly chosen remedy have on your system? Can it do major damage? Does it worsen your symptoms, modify them into something similar, create new symptoms / illness, or it does nothing at all?
Thank you in advance.

Only the similimum can bring about desired results.A wrongly chosen remedy may not produce major damages.Wrongly selected remedy may not produce any good effects as well. Some sensitive patients may start experiencing the symptoms of the wrongly chosen remedy for a while, and that too will disappear.

Dear Dr. Saravanan,
thank you so much for your reply. Your insight is greatly appreciated.
I don't mean to be inappropriate or too forward, but would you by any chance be willing to help me with some of my health issues? I see people on this forum getting help, I've read many success stories. I think it's truly amazing how you homeopaths selflessly use your time and knowledge to help those in need.
Looking forward to your reply.
