Baby Eczema
My baby is 5 months old. He started having eczema on his cheecks. It looked like acne. Red, dry and rough skin. Then it spread to his hands. It was very scaly and oozing honey like stuff. Then it spread on his trunk. On the trunk it looked like red patches. Skin on his legs has black patches. Took him to a dermatologist. Prescribed steroid. Did not want to use that.He is up all night scratching, pulls off mittens and manages to scratch even if i cut his nails. When he scratches on his cheeks he starts bleeding. I am extremely frustrated. Tried homeopathy with my cousin who is a hemeo doc. Initially gave belladona 30. Did not work. Then gave sulphur 30 it aggravated the first 24 hrs and afetr that no improvement. Gave graphites 30. Aggravated for 12 hrs (very itchy and started oozing on cheecks, hands and trunk). No improvement after that. Dont know if he has a food allergy...
He was born via C-section. Labor started normally, but when I was pushing he failed to descend since the cord was wrapped around his neck. So they did an emergency c-section. He is otherwise very active, normal and healthy. Did not start solids yet. Waiting to complete 6 months. Somebody please help!!!!!
