Pain, swelling (recurrence?) and low-hanging testicles after varicocele surgery Page 3 of 7
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Update: Just saw another urologist. In his opinion, I had a haemorrhage after during surgery which led to veins in the (left side of) scrotum to fill up with blood, and some of this blood is still there now, trapped, waiting for my body to very slowly take care of it. It is going to get better, he says, but very slowly. (At least a month more. He gave me antiinflammatory pills for over three months.)

You should use either the homoeopathy or the medication, rather than both. You can always start the orthodox drugs later if the homoeopathy does not help.

Ok,antibiotics are now over, I'll pause the antiinflammatory medication for a while. What should I do now? I took the Bell-P Wednesday, two days ago. Wait and see?

He is on holiday for a month though. So, should I try Bell-P again in the meantime do you think?

Wait one week from the dose to see how the remedy has affected you.
You should be under the care of someone in person - that is your best strategy.
Make sure he or she prescribes according to the basic principles - Law of Similars, Law of the Single Remedy, Law of the Minimum Dose, Law of Direction of Cure. You can ask them directly about this and see what they say.

Ok I will definately ask his that!
I took the Bell-P Wednesday. Should I take it again Wednesday? Since I am going away for a week (leaving Monday), should I take another dose Monday, or take the Bell-P with me and take it Wednesday?
Is it ok to use the same bottle which I have in my fridge?
Is it ok to take that ready-mixed bottle on the train and use again, or should I take with me the pillules and repeat the mixing?
Sorry about all questions! Thanks for all help David!

The effect of the dose needs to be assessed before taking more - if there has been aggravation or improvement or no effect. Doses shouldn't be repeated mechanically. Take it with you and try to get online so we can talk about what has happened.
The bottle you mixed up is sufficent for dosing for probably a year or so, depending on how long the water remains unspoiled. Of course you shouldn't need it more than a few months at most, assuming it helps.

Ok, I'll take the bottle with me and will try to find internet somewhere (not sure I will be able to).
On the whole, these four days (after Bell-P) have maybe been a little nbetter than usual - less pain, swelling, hanging and anxiety - but the evening after taking Bell-P I was more anxious than usual, and the following three nights full of nightmares. Also, there was much more swelling than ususal the night before yesterday, and a long pain yesterday (after biking for an hour).
But on awhole, I'd say it has been better, somehow.

That sounds like aggravation, so hopefully a good sign.
When all of that stops, and if you still have symptoms, another dose can be taken.
If you experience a relapse of symptoms, then the dose should be repeated.
If things continue to improve, you should hold off on another dose.

Back home again. Had serious pain and swelling Saturday and Sunday, better since Monday. Aggrevation?
Repeat Bell-P?
David?

It has now been two weeks since I took Bell-P. Should I repeat do you think? Symptoms are slightly better I think...

Hallo David, I contacted the homeopath I had been recommended, but he could not see me here in town, I have to travel for a couple of hours to see him.
Should I take the trip do you think, or try to find one in town? Or continue with the Bellis perennis? Last dose was three days ago (Friday). It looks a little better I think, and most of the pain is almost gone, also it does not hang as much, but the swelling is there, especially evenings and nights. Also, I have this weird, subtle feeling of discomfort in the region, this has not improved. I guess it might be due to anxiety, but I'm not sure.
What do you think, wait and take a third dose?
Thanks for your time, btw

I forgot, I had an ultrasound and according to that doctor I do not have inflammation or blood clots in the scrotum (which was exactly what the last urologist I saw said), what I have, according to him, is simply varicocele.
Don't know what to believe. My own theory is that my varicocele got worse from the surgery. The (poorly) functioning veins were ligated and blood was forced to find new ways from the scrotum. I think that either the new 'micro-veins' function poorly (are varicose) or that the process of finding new ways for the blood is still on way.
Sorry about rambling. Don't know if this is relevant to taking Bellis perennis or not.

Also, the homeopath I spoke to might do an examination using a machine called Vegacheck (link: http://www.myimagein.com/How_it_all_works.html). How does this sound to you?
axel lambert last decade
Yes take one more dose and we can reassess the case after that.
That is a lot of medications - no telling what is working and what isn't.
The Vegacheck machine is not homoeopathy, is not related to homoeopathy, and is a waste of money. We had a charlatan in our clinic for a little while using one of them, charged people $500 for an 'analysis'. Clinic manager threw him out eventually when the complaints started coming in.
If he uses that, he is not a classical homoeopath, and probably not trained properly at all.

I thought it sounded suspicious. Well, I'll start over and try to find a proper homeopath.
Rereading this thread, I see that I listed three main problems: (1) dragging sensation making it hard to walk, (2) swelling and (3) pain. It is quite clear that my main problem now is (2) swelling. Pain and dragging are much better (most of the time).
About medications, the ginseng is something I have been taking for years; the two ayurvedic pill were recommended to me by a ayurvedic 'doctor', friend of a friend (the haritaki agains constipation which I later have read could worsen varicocele, the other against inflammation and 'vata imbalance'); venocap includes several herbs that I have read can alleviate varicose veins (and therefore maybe also varicocele); diclofenak was prescribed by the last urologist I saw; and xanax and zopiklon are simply to calm me down, I wish I could cut back on them.
I'll take one more dose of Bell-P then!
