Tinnitus
Hi everyone I am requesting the help of experienced homeopathy who have successfully cured or managed to subside tinnitus. I have found a definite positive link between those with high bp oedema of the legs and tinnitus. It is definitely a problem therefore which is related to the fluid balance of the body.Has anyone had success with nat mur or other like remedies in treating this. I have two people who have come to me for help with their tinnitus problem and I will not give up on them. I am sure together we can find a common remedy to rid people of this problem.
Thanks.

Hi Santino,
I have tinnitus but it started when I was
8 years old and had measles. I had
a very high temp. and after measles
was over- I lost random parts of my
hearing ( mostly low tones) and was
told the measles did nerve damage so
cannot be repaired. Have had tinnitus
every day off and on since 8. So nerve
damage can be also a cause.
Thanks,
Simone717

Hi Santino
this is a great thread you have started - i have been suffering from tinnitus for the past 5 months and yes when my gp checked my bp it was high ! and i get swellings in my ankles also and i feel like my soles are burning sometimes.
i am not on any bp medication yet - my bp is around 160 and resting pulse is low around 50.
thanks

Hi Santino.
I never thought to ask for remedies for
it? bc I got used to it. Actually most
of the time it sounds like chirping birds.

Hi Nisha Chopra
I have had some success in the past for tinnitus with sulphur. Your soles feel like burning is definately a sulphur symptom and would be worth trying.
but i am trying to find a common link to cure the root of the problem..
i agree with simone that it is a nerve problem. but i need common symtoms.
simone - nearly all patients ive dealt with tinnitus said it came about when they had a flu/cold or high temp sickness. nisha does the same apply for u ?
thanks

You have confirmed this is a fluid water retention problem and i am a 100% positive it can be cured.
did you ever try belladaonna ?
nat mur ? or nat phos for your water weight

No Santino, I have not tried anything
except to try to eliminate all salt and
not eat any processed foods, ( which
does help.
since the problem has been there
( tinnitus) since 8 years old and no
water weight until last 5 years??
what do you think? that this is a late
blooming effect of tinnutis that leads to water
weight?

the fact that it is better without salt means u r retaining water. BP rises when there is too much water retention. so again you have proved my analysis of the connection. You are lucky that through a controlled diet you have manage to keep your bp normal.
This leads me to conclude that any medicine that lowers bp will also lower tinnitus problems. but i would like more experienced doctors to step forward and please help me solve the puzzle.
and whilst yes i agree that homeopathy treats the person not the disease and every medicine is different - i still believe that one medicine or combination of 2 meds can be used to treat the same disease in every person
joepathy has proved this point rather well!

Hi Santino,
I just made a post to the forum about my own tinnitus - but I do not have high blood pressure or oedema! In fact my blood pressure is often on the low side.
I am a 39 year old female, slim and generally physically fit.
