PCOS, obese, deppressed,lowerbackpain

Hi,
I am 31 years old female with a kid of 3.5 years.
Height 5feet 2 inch. Weight-78 kgs.

Suffering/problem- Irregular absent periods for months with less flow. PCOS

.
History - one miscarriage after 2years of marriage. Had a normal delivery at 3rd year of marriage. Started gaining weight after first miscarriage.

I am having PcOS from last one and half years. Am having polycystic ovaries.
My periods are always delayed by 1.5 to 2 months and hardly last for 2 to 3 days with less flow.
I am currently taking Glycomet Metformin 500 mg and M2 tone twice a day and Thyronorm 50mcg once a day. (thryoid reports, Sugar report(PP) were normal in last month scan)

Due to delayed and irregular periods with scanty little flow, have accumulated lot of fat around my waist and breasts have become full and big.
Trying to loose weight but no success. Sometimes having cracking sound in knees.
I use to get knee pain if I stand and continue to work in kitchen for continous 1 or 2 hour .

I am working woman so have to sit continously in chair, lot of stress and tension.

My skin has become bit dull on face and dark around neck dark pigmentation
I frequently suffer from lower back pain after delivery.
I also get acidity frequently so daily after breakfast i need to have a glass full of milk to keep my acidity calm. (Acidity - Severe pain like burning sensation in upper top most part of stomach just beneath the chest in middle part. Along with burning sensation a feeling of vomitting)

I get easily depressed, irritated, happy, mood swing. can cry on no matter.

Last period - 21st July 12. Waiting for periods tilldate. have taken Sandoz(Regesterone) as told by Doctor. but still no result. Skin has become oily and having lots of small small pimples which are leaving black spot behind. Lower back pain

Please guide and advice

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.

Pl take
1. Graphitis-200 6 pills once in a day
2. Pulsetilla-1m 6 pills at bedtime every day

Pl avoid milk and milk products.

If you feel better then taper the dose of Alopathy medicine in consultantation with your family doctor.

thanks Doctor for the reply.
Any specific precautions to be taken like
1) not to take the medicines when period starts
2) When to start taking the medicines after periods.

Apart from milk and milk products any food to be avoided.

I have ordered for the medicines, Waiting to get it and start.

You can take the medicines in priods also. No problem. Only restriction is about milk and milk products.

Hi Doctor,

Is Pulsatilla nigricans 1000 same as Pulsatilla 1M?
The chemist said both are same. please confirm.

can i take Pulsatilla nigricans 1000.
I have got both the medicines in liquid form. So how many drops to be taken for each?
Please advise.

1000 = 1m
If the medcines are in liquid form then 1 dose = 3 drops in one teaspoonful water

Hello doctor,

I had started the medicines from 8th August. I got my periods(spotting) on 11th Aug. It last for hardly two days. I am continuing the medicines as prescibed. It might take some time to get the good results.

Hello doctor,

I am taking the doses as prescibed. Was feeling light weight internally but disappointed to find that it was the same on weighing machine. Again small small pimples are coming up signaling me that my periods are due or in near date. My face skin is getting oily again. Waiting for my periods. One more thing have noted my hair fall has increased.

Please advice if there should be any change in medicines or shall I continue with them. I want to loose weight desperately.

Hello doctor,

Again am sad. waiting for periods or any spotting. My body have become bloated, specially my breasts have become heavy and big. My stomach and lower abdomen too seems to be bloated and bulky. face skin is oily and small small pimples.
waiting for your advise.

Hello Doctor,

I had my periods on 3rd Oct. It last for two days. For the first day it was spotting only and on 4th Oct I had very little flow. one week before my periods I had started taking Hyponidd (Charak Pharma)

Currently my medications have bit change.
In morning I am taking thyronorm 50mcg on waking up.
Then after breakfast taking 2 tablets of M2-tone.
one hour later taking Graphitis 200 (one dose)
30 minutes before lunch - 2 tablets of Hyponidd
After lunch - Metformin 500mg
In evening , 30 mins before dinner - 2 tablets of Hyponidd
After dinner - 1 metformin and 2 M2-tone tablets
at sleeping time - taking pulsatilla Nigricans 1000.

I have not loss weight. Generally my breast use to be light weight after periods. but this time my breast are bit heavy and bulky big. I use to get irritated and annoyed soon in office(might be workload)

Just to let you know- my sleep is not a good one. I easily wake up while sleeping on hearing noise of door opening/ close or vehicles horn (might be normal thing)

Please advice.
