stomach flu-bella failed?

My 13 year old son has got stomach flu. In the morning, at 9.00 am, following symptoms: headache, fever, vomiting (only once), nausea, red in face, diarrhea.
He got Belladonna 30C, 5 doses in 2 hours, with excellent results: fever was gone, face color normal, nausea gone. After one case of vomiting the final relief was reached. He was able to eat lunch, but light food in small quantity.
In the afternoon, at 16.00pm, the symptoms returned heavily and he was returned to bed. We gave him Bella again, but no effect whatsoever. In the evening, after give up hope for improvement, we went for old medicine for fever – vinegar compress, tea, etc.
Can somebody give me explanation, what would be the right treatment for this illness?
Should we after good results with Bella go for other remedy?
Was afternoon dosing wrong?
Kindly advise.

Please give him Belladonna 200c thrice daily for two days. If he does not get better then we certainly need to change the remedy.

Today, after 2 days the symptoms are gone. Whether this is thank to Bella or simply the body recovers, I can not say.
Would it be advisable if for faster recovery of stomach, give any other remedy (perhaps sulfur?).

Did you give bell.200c?

Can you give a description about the child as it feels now? and also the symptoms?

A suitable remedy can be suggested(not excluding your choice sulphur as yet).

He got one dose of Bell 200 as he felt better already, so we stopped. But it remains slight nausea.

Basically I do not want to give him anything else, but just in case this symptom remains for few days I want to be ready and help him to reach final releaf.

Give him two more doses of bella.200.

Then give more details like how's appetite, thirst, mood, energy, worsening factors/bettering factors and associated symptoms if any--- while reporting.
