when to repeat constitutional remedy?

How do you know when to repeat a constitutional remedy? My son was being treated by Brisbane Homeopath a few months back. We seemed to have finally found the right remedy, as my son's eczema and sleeping problems finally cleared up. They stayed away for about 2 months.

In the last month or so, my son has gotten another small patch of eczema, and his sleep is starting to deteriorate again. Does this mean it is time to repeat the remedy (which was Nux V 200c)? Or does it indicate that maybe the potency or remedy is not quite right? (My son typically aggravates for a couple weeks each time he takes a remedy, so I want to be sure it is time before I give him another dose.)

I'd appreciate any help on this!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Typically when you sense that the medicine is wearing off and past symptoms start to repeat. Observe mentals, energy levels, etc.

BTW Nux Vom is not a deep acting remedy. After it does its bit, should be followed by a finishing remedy. Please note I am not ruling out repetition and/or moving to higher potency, etc prior to finishing dose.

Just before the symptoms relapse. Mostly people say to repeat when symptoms come back but I prefer to repeat the remedy just before the coming back of symptoms.

Thank you both for your replies! Are there certain remedies used as the finishing remedies after Nux V,so I can look in the Materia Medica to see which sounds like the best fit?

Depends on the symptoms you exhibit.
