1. Describe your main suffering?

Feeling overwhelmed and that leads to anger and irritability and sometimes bouts of depression

2. What other physical sufferings do you have in your body?

Pain in lower right side of back, muscular pain in upper back shoulders, knees hurt, candida in milk ducts

3. What mental sufferings / feelings do you have associated with your physical sufferings?

Discouragement

4. What exactly do you feel when you are at your worst?

Anger - like why is this happening to me, I'm doing everything that I can to do things right and that there is a sense of unfairness or inequality to the situation. Like I want to give up, or like I should've chosen a different path in life.

5. When did it all start? Can you connect it to any past event or disease?

Probably when I was 10 years old and my mom remarried. Then later when I joined the military.

6. Which time of the day you are worst?

Mornings

7. What are the things which aggravate your suffering and which are those which ameliorate the same?

I have two small children and stay at home with them in the country. I have no family nearby. My husband is oftentimes grumpy and rude. We do not laugh often. These are just some of the things that aggravate my suffering. Time alone to clear my mind and if possibly exercise help me feel better, and of course sleep helps, but all of those are few and far between.

8. Do your think your sufferings have relation to any external stimuli (like, change of place) or any internal biological changes in the body, like, menses (in females)?

Not sure

9. When do you feel better, during hot weather or cold weather, humid or dry weather?

Autumn is my favorite time of year. I like the weather about 73 deg F with sunny skies and a cool breeze. No humidity is best for me.

10. Describe your general mental set up? Are you Moody, Arrogant, Mild, Agreeable Changeable, Nervous, Suspicious, Easily offended, Quiet, Arguing, Irritating, Lazy etc.

I am moody, but when I am happy I can light up a room. I can be easily offended, it just depends on the person and the day. I have been known to have my fair share of arguments. I like things clean and organized, but my desk is oftentimes messy. i also have a hard time completing household chores. I am suspicious but also naive at times.

- How do you feel before or during a thunderstorm?
Excited but ready to get in bed with a book

- Do you like being consoled during your tough times?
No

- Are you sensitive to external stimuli like smell, noise, light etc?

Yes

- Do you have any typical habit or gesture like nail biting, causeless
weeping, talking to one self etc?

No, but I do replay things in my head over and over

- How do you feel about your friends, family, your children and especially your husband / wife?

I don't really have many friends anymore since I moved from home, but the ones I do keep in touch with I feel really 'get' me and are willing to accept me in whatever capacity I choose to be. I miss my family and would like them closer to provide me some relief from my children; however, I have to admit that it's probably best that they're far away, so they do not treat me like I'm still 17. I love my children dearly, but I am tired. I am very protective of them, but I can grow irritated with them even though I know they are just being children. Regarding my husband, I admire him, but at the same time I am irritated by him because he can be rude, grumpy, and passive on lots of issues. I oftentimes feel as if we are maybe not a good match.

11. What are your fears and do you dream of any situation repeatedly?

I am still scared of the dark and I startle easy. I have a repeated dream that I did not graduate from high school and/or university. (I graduated from both.)

12. What do you crave for in food items and what are your aversions?

I like sweet breads and salads. I do not care for fried foods.

13. How is your thirst: Less, Normal or Excessive?

Normal, but the back of my throat is oftentimes very dry, especially when I wake up. I drink about 80 oz of filtered water a day, because I am nursing.

14. How if your hunger: Less, Normal or Excessive?

Normal, but when I eat I eat a lot
15. Is there any kind of food which your body can’t stand?

Mayonnaise

16. Is your sweat normal or less or more? Where does it sweat more: Head, Trunk or Limbs?

Sweat more and in my armpits. I also sweat on my eyebrows, upper lip and lower back

17. How is your bowel movement and stool type?

I oftentimes feel as if I did not get everything out. My stools vary from thin and ribbon like to appearing bulky like I'm constipated.

18. How well do you sleep? Do you have a particular posture of sleeping?

I have not slept well in over 2.5 years. My position varies; however, I used to like to sleep on my abdomen with a leg kicked out.

19. Do you think you are able to satisfy your sexual desires in general?

I have not had any since the birth of my recent child.

20. How do you think you are different from others, if at all?

I enjoy doing things that a majority of people are not doing.

21. What medications have been taken earlier by you to treat the diseases and do you have any particular symptom surfacing after the medication?

Years ago the doctors convinced me that anti-depressants would work but that did not help. I do not like prescription medications. I also attempted natural things like St. John's Wort and 5-HTP, but found I did not like those as well. I now just take cod liver oil, a B vitamin supplement, and a probiotic

22. What major diseases are running in your family?

diabetes and high blood pressure

23. Describe, how do you look like? Describe your overall appearance

Short, heavyset, broad shoulders and large breasts, short stocky legs, mid-length brown curly hair, brown eyes, brown skin, nice teeth and nice skin

24. (ONLY FOR FEMALES)

Please answer the following questions:
(Please give details of your past menstruation if you have attained menopause.)
- Are the periods early, regular or late in general?
I have not had a period in over a year. Before that they were regular.

How long do they last?

They were on average maybe 6 days?

- Do you suffer from any kind of physical or mental discomfort before, during or after the periods?

Occasional pre menstrual cramps, bloating, occasional fatigue. Sometimes right before my period I would be a very good mood and laugh a lot

- Is the flow scanty, normal or excessive?

Norman after the birth of my first son. Prior to that is was excessive

- Is the blood thick bright red or pale watery?

Red
- Do you notice any clots in the flow?

I have passed clots, but not so much after I had my first child

Please take three doses of Sepia 200 as follows and see how that affects in next 15 days (only 3 doses in 15 days).

day 1 morning
1st dose

day 1 evening
2nd dose

day 2 morning
3rd dose

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 2 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 2 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.

Hello!

I finally received the sepia via our postal service and took the suggested dosages. I do have a couple of questions that I hope you could answer.

How long after taking the last dose should I have waited to drink coffee? During the cold weather seasons I normally switch to Mexican coffee my family sends me as my daily morning beverage. I had coffee approximately 12-15 hours after my final dose of sepia. Will this weaken the effects of the remedy? I sincerely want this to work for me, so if I have to take the dosages again and never drink coffee then I will. Please advise.

My second issue is that my two children are both teething at the same time. I have a teething gel made by the Hylands company that I have been applying to their gums to alleviate their pain. My concern is that I have been touching this gel and it is a compounded homeopathic remedy that contains,'calcarea phosphorica 12x HPUS, chamomilla 6x HPUS, coffea cruda 6x HPUS, and belladonna 6x. Will any of these counteract, weaken or antidote the sepia? Please advise.

Will Nat. Phos. 6x or arnica 30c weaken the sepia? How long after my final dose of the sepia should I wait to take these remedies? I am still suffering from a upper stomach heartburn from almost anything I eat.

Finally, how long will the effects of the sepia last? When should I anticipate taking another dose, and how much should I take?

Thank you for your time and the service you provide here.

CCMom last decade
There won't be any harm if you touch the gel.

You may take coffee if you can't do without that.

You may take Natrum Phos 6x 2 pellets in the morning and evening daily in follow up to Sepia.

Later you may need the remedies Calc Carb 200 and Lycopodium 200.

Sepia may take 15 days to show it's results.

Hello! How will I know when to take the other remedies? Is it when I start to become angry again? I can say that I do feel better- less annoyed with my household duties, less irritable with my children and I do have more energy despite that my youngest child still wakes several times a night to nurse. I pray that this feeling at least stays the same or gets better. I have not felt such a balance in many MANY years, if ever. I will go ahead and purchase these additional two now, so that I have them on hand when needed; however, when should I anticipate using them? I really want to ensure that I do everything correctly as I am new to homeopathy.

Thank you

Also, I do not think I am 100% better yet, but I hope this is the beginning to much better times for me.

Sorry for so many posts; however, I forgot to mention that I have been having what feel like menstrual cramps in my lower back and right in the front lower abdomen but mostly in the back. I also had more pain in the right side of my body- knee, lower right back, hip/ pelvis area. I had been having the back pain on and off again for about 2 1/2 weeks but yesterday it was noticeably stronger. I have not had a period since having my newest child 4 months ago as I am still nursing him. Maybe these pains are just due to normal hormonal drop at this point post pregnancy? With my other child my period returned at 6 months even thought I was still nursing. I just thought I should report this to you just in case.

Sometimes the cause of losing happiness is the strong craving for happiness. When we don't have that craving we are peaceful. So take it easy.

You should not take any remedy on your own. You should report your symptoms and on that basis you will be suggested your remedy.

It is better to allow Sepia to work at least for 15 days before going for additional doses or another remedy. You may write down here anything you wish to bring to my notice. i take notice of everything that you write here.

Will do. I feel like the remedy's effects were short lived though. I've already caught myself becoming irritated with my husband and my children again. Monday was my best day. It seemed as if I was 'seeing' things better. My mind was not preoccupied with my next task, I felt content to play with my children Instead of sitting and waiting for the time to come to put them down for nap. I have been very blessed with my life, yet it seems as if I cannot see the full beauty in what I have because I feel weighed down with everything. It's like I see my life without all the 'color'. Maybe it is the coffee. I also make my own hair rinse from time to time and that contains apple cider vinegar. My cramping is not as it was 24 hours ago. I still remain angry towards my husband and see him as a highly self absorbed person who puts his needs above my own. We did have intercourse on Sunday and although it was probably the best I've ever felt during it I still felt like the only reason he assisted with housework that day was because he wanted to 'get something in exchange for doing something.' He is a big source of my unhappiness. Sometimes I feel like we're a good match because we both want to create things ( he likes working with his hands and building things and I like cooking and want to garden). Other times I really feel like he stifles my creativity and my ability to really be me because he is ALWAYS grumpy and rude. He suffers from premature hearing loss which I know contributes to some of his own frustration, and at this time we cannot afford to purchase hearing aids. He also suffers from extreme continuous sinus pressure; however, he does not take my suggestions regarding more natural wholesome things he can do to alleviate this pain. Being grumpy and rude and short I'd just who he has come to embrace about himself and it really upsets me. I'm trying to maintain happiness and contentment while he is 'happy' brooding around in his own misery. My weight and appearance are a major point of unhappiness for myself. I used to be athletic and prior to marriage/children I was about 60lbs. Lighter than I am now. I have no family or friends to watch my children, so I never have time or energy to workout. Exercise used to give me great happiness. My husband makes time to work on his carpentry projects, but I can't even get him to help with the baby more than once at night. No matter how much sleep he gets it's never enough whereas I have been running off of 3-4 hours a night for years. I'm really trying to take a wholistic approach to helping myself (praying, cutting out sugars, eating healthy, going outdoors weather permitting and if I could I would exercise), but I'm still struggling with negative self-talk, replaying things over and over again until I am deeply angered, and always planning so much that I rarely enjoy the moment.

I also have had a feeling if phlegm in the back of my throat for years. It's like a little ball I cannot spit up/out and I even find Myself trying to gag myself while brushing my teeth to get it out. I am very sensitive to the cold (always colt feet/hands and being chilly), I drink mainly water but it usually does not quench my thirst (if I drink juice that helps), and I used to suffer from hypothyroidism. Occassionally my vision gets as if I have too much light entering my eyes and I have to close them for a while and lay down. My urine can on occassion smell strong.

I am also suffering from some severe constipation which I think is causing the cramps. It is so bad that I can smell it in my breath and through my nose. I recently attempted to do a colon cleanse with psyllium husks and blackstrap molasses but I was unsuccessful in getting it to work. It made me severely bloated And miserable. Please advise.

Please repeat a dose of Sepia 200 after 7 days if you don't improve on your own by that time.

kadwa last decade
It has been 7 days since my first round of sepia, so I took an additional dose (2 pellets) this morning. While I do not feel 100% better right now (too soon to tell) I can say that the terrible cramping and lower back pain have subsided significantly in the past hour since I have taken the sepia. Perhaps I have a prolapsed uterus from the birth of my most recent child? I never made it to the hospital and delivered him here at home in 5 pushes, so maybe these pains are due to that- even though it has been 4 months since his delivery. When would you like me to report back to you? What should I do about this constipation issue?

I forgot to add that I also have a placenta tincture and pills on hand. Would it be ok to take these while the sepia runs it's course?

I also have had a slight itching in my ears - started with the left ear first and now is in both. Nothing too significant but it is odd to have that itching feeling- almost like the onset of an ear ache ( which I have not had in many many years). I had this prior to the sepia.

The candida in my milk ducts does not seem to be as active now as well. Prior to the sepia I had taken a months worth of kyolic garlic and pau d'arco along with the probiotic to assist with ridding me of the candida. I just thought you might want to know a little more of my background.

CCMom last decade
Please report back after 7 days. Don't take placenta Q for the time being.

Can you please explain to me what exactly are the homeopathic restrictions? When people say no raw onion or garlic how long is that restriction for? I've read no ham or sausages as well? What are all the restriction applicable to homeopathy and how long is their duration? The book I'm reading, Homeopathic Self Care lists some, but I'm curious as to what the entire list is. Thank you.

Any thing that can offer a strong stimulation like strong odor, stimulants should be avoided. But many people ask to refrain from taking coffee only as it antidotes many remedies.

kadwa last decade
It seems as if my weight is increasing. I feel very bloated and still constipated. I will continue to wait on any of your recommendations. Thank you

I also have some sort of rash that has appeared on my chest and arms. It doesn't itch nor does it have any color, it's just a bunch of unattractive clusters of bumps

Do you have calc carb with you?
