Help! Flu, high fever - 5 y.o child
My 5 y.o child came down with flu 2 days ago (she had sudden onset of fever 105 F at night, 3 hours after she saw her brother break his nose and lips badly). She's been running fever between 103 and 105 these two days. She feels very week, wants to lie all the time with me at her side. No hunger, moderate thirst. Worst at night, she gets bad cough - can't cought out phlegm, looks very scared and cries. Face pink, not red, eyes look red and inflammated. Nose slightly running (clear mucus) or stuffed. No sweat. Prefers to be under the blanket. Throat is sore, tonsils red and swollen. Please help me with the remedy - we're in Russia and no homeopath is available.victoria_k on 2005-10-22
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Wow...I can't believe that of all people who give advise here on how to choose a constitutional remedy no one could (or bothered to) advise on such an issue as how to bring down fever. It's sad that I have to go back to allopathy, just because I don't have a homeopath avaiable 24/7 and obviously it's hard to expect any support from homeopathic forums. I had to give my daughter Nurofen, she is OK now.
