Constipated Breastfed Baby
My daughter is 11 months old. She was exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months. She had a bowel movement once a week, sometimes twice. We were told that was normal for breastfed babies. She seemed to have gas and tummy troubles often at night. Very restless sleeper. Still is getting up every hour to two hours. When we introduced solids, she became very constipated. We stopped solids for a couple of months then tried again with her becoming incredibly constipated again. She doesn't seem to handle solids well. She is genuinely a happy baby but is often tired due to lack of sleep. Any advice on both the sleep and constipation?tatesmomma on 2014-04-23
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Her remedy is Plumbum Metallicum 30C, in liquid form.
Take two drops of the medicine in half cup purified water. Mix the solution well. Give one tablespoon medicine twice daily for 3 days, in empty stomach.
You can use the same solution many times if kept lidded and spoon used is clean.
One dose in morning and one dose in evening. continue for three days and start giving her solids from the second day.
Please give feedback on the third day or whenever u think its necessary during the course.
