14 month old traumatized emotionally by laser surgery

Hi

I recently got done a frenectomy on my 14 month old. It was done thru laser therefore no sedation. Ever since the procedure he has been having spells of inconsolable crying. He refuses to lie down on his back possibly because he is reminded of the procedure. Cries when mom leaves his sight or does not carry him around.

I opted for laser as a general anesthesia wud be too risky. However he has become an emotional wreck of sorts.

He already has an oral aversion due to previously untreated reflux. Now this surgery has solved one problem but created another.

Hello,

Thank you so much for the quick response.

Sorry for seeing this very late. I have been traveling and could only log on now. And now he is going in for another round of laser unfortunately.

When I was searching for rescue remedy, I found many versions. Please advise if the below is ok to give?

amazon. com/Bach-LA-AM-FU-Rescue-Remedy-20ml/dp/B00016QT7Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1406711629&sr=8-1&keywords=rescue+remedy

ALso, can I give aconite in pill form by making a wet dose? or should I procure liquid separately?

Thanks.
