Malassezia Pachydermatis / Itchy Dog
Has anyone used this remedy on a yeasty dog? My dog is itchy, smelly, with brownish waxy gunk in her ears. She also has dry elephant skin on her elbows/knees, etc.listensister on 2016-08-11

Thanks for the response. I have tried sulphur in the past and it seemed to aggravate. I was wondering if anyone had ever tried Malassezia Pachydermatis 30C. I have read about it helping a similar problem.Has anyone used this remedy?

It has been quite a while since I tried the sulphur. I think by the third dose, she was aggravated. I did give her a dose (water dose) of the malassezia this morning and she seemed to have an easier day, slept a lot. I'll see what happens.

I have given this remedy, once per day for 2 days, skipped a day, then 2 days again. I have now skipped two days. Lena still itches, but not constantly and the stinky odor has diminished. Do you think I should dose again, or wait?

No further improvement. She chews her feet a lot and licks her sides/bottom. Still as the brown earwax.

I apologize for taking so long to reply. Pulsatilla is one of the many remedies I have tried over the 3 years I have been trying to help Lena. She came to me as a pup, which had been vaccinated just before I got her. About a week after the vaccines is when her itching and fur loss started. She has not had an itch free day in her life. Her problem seems to be the yeast overgrowth (malassezia)which causes the intense itching and ear gunk, so that is why I had tried the malassezia pachy. Everything seems to work at first, but then it's back to itching. She's a very sweet dog and it pains me to see her this way, but maybe I just have to accept it.
I apologize for making noise, but thanks for listening.
