Bone disease: Silicea aggravation?

I gave my dog one dose of Silicea 30c for bone disease… bone tumor and spinal arthritis (spondylosis) two days ago. He is a giant breed dog who has already reached the maximum expected lifespan for his breed. These are common inherited problems for his breed.

On the first day he was happy and frisky, acting like a puppy again for the first time in years. On the second day (starting last night) he is in more pain than ever! It seems to hurt to lay down, so he stays on his feet all the time, crouching and looking miserable. His feel are starting to swell from so much standing.

Is this “good sign” that the healing process is working? Did I give him the wrong potency? Maybe he injured himself when he was feeling better?

I’m trying to figure out what to do next. Please share your thoughts.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Once limit reaches death comes. There is an inherent uncertainty in life and none is able to demystify what is going on. If a homeopath builds his own theories for everything that happens after giving a single dose his thoughts don't have any significance than mere guess work.

In this case i would have given Rhus Tox now and would not have put myself in culprit box for giving silicea.

Thanks, Kadwa. Two more days have passed (with no new remedies) and he is doing better, almost back to how he was before Silicea. (But perhaps there is some internal healing).
