2 lb chihuahua with abscessed tooth

Ok, so she's a real sweetheart, she's pretty healthy I'd say considering her condition of being born with hydrocephalus. We make her own human grade food... she's supplemented daily with approx. 1/2 tsp a day of combined hemp/kelp/macca root/moringa leaves/tumeric with pepper/spirulini and 2 tablets of bio plasma. She is on omeprazole to assist in the reduction of CF fluid. Layla is very congested all the time, and has very smelly breath. Her teeth aren't the best. Recently the vet wanted to try her on short term prednizone. So we caved in and tried it. She's been off it now for 2 weeks as it did not better her condition at all. But now she's developed an abscessed tooth. We've been soaking a Q tip in hydrogen peroxide and applying it to the area as well as crushed garlic oil and coconut oil. We've also been applying warm cloth to her face where the swelling is. We started her on silica (30x) the other day (2 drops) .. we ordered Belladonna but after reading a few horror stories and it's toxicity I have not yet given her any. We are probably going to cave in and take her to the vet today if no one can advice me how to treat her. The swelling almost looked like it's starting to recede this morning. I know the vet will do the vet thing and put her on antibiotics. They of course can not do any operating at this time because they would have to get the swelling down first. So I have time to think before they proceed. Putting her under anesthetic frightens me... remember she is only 2 lbs... hydrocephalus and very congested. Her heart sounds good and her lungs... vet said maybe a little rattling but nothing to be concerned about. I'd really prefer not to use antibiotics on her if I don't have to... and would really like to have her congestion leave her. Any advise is appreciated. Also she has lost mobility of her rear legs.
