Teeth loose in the morning?

My 10 year old son has a problem that when he wakes up in the morning, two of his lower front teeth are loose. I they are the right center tooth and the one to the right of that. He can visibly move them back and forth. By the end of the day they are firmly in place. Can anyone help with this?

We don't know what the cause is.

In the evening, if he tries moving them there is slight movement, but almost impossible to see. In the morning when he wakes up they move quite a bit.

The only other complaint is that his nose is congested and he feels runny, dripping down. It is light green.

Several months ago he had a playground accident and his teeth got jostled and loose. One was chipped. It seemed that the loose tooth settled in fine at the time, but he has complained about it feeling loose a few times since. Neither of us is sure if this is the same tooth, but in any case, at the time of the accident it was just one tooth that was loose but now it is two.
