Liver enzymes elevated due to drug abuse.

Hello everyone,

I'm 26 years old, man, and I went to Spain for 15 days where I did total of 5 days of recreational drugs (cocaine, mephedrone, crystal meth, ghb, ecstasy, mdma...) It was quite a cocktail of drugs.

When I returned from there, my diarrhea would not stop.

My doctor ordered a battery of tests. Stool tests are negative for parasites and bacterias, but the liver tests are not good :

The liver enzymes (ASAT/ALAT) are 3 times more than the normal lever, and the C protein reactive is elevated too.

Hepatitis A and C are negative, and B i'm vaccinated.

The doctor told me it must be elevated due to drug abuse, and we have to check again to see if it goes down.

But right now i'm so stressed, i'd like to take some homeopathic medicine to cleanse my liver and reduce the elevated levels...

I've heard Phospohorus 30 or Nuc Vomica 30 is good for the liver? What potency and how many doses for how many days?

The diarrhea is better now, but i'm extremely tired, no appetite, anxious, sweaty from head to toe at night and nightmares.

Please help.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Nux vomica 6x will drain the liver of toxins. I'm not a homeopath but speaking from experience. Berberis Vulgaris 6x will work on kidneys and liver. I have used both together in the 6x strength and they worked well to improve my liver and kidneys.

The nux vomica will also help reduce your stress.

For doseage take 3 pillules twice daily for a week and then reassess the situation, again I am not a homeopath but i do have a keen interest so u may want to see if someone more qualified chimes in with a better solution.

Nux vomica 6x is a homeopathic medicine or is it a sea salt? Is Nux Vomica 6x and 6c the same?

Right now, I only have Nux Vomica 30c at home, 6c can be ordered at the pharmacy, not sure about 6x...

6x would be better as the lower potencies have a drainage action which helps to cleanse your organs and tissue. 6c is still a lower potency would be ok but I recommend 6x to give you the best detox action if you can obtain it that is.

Nux Vomica 6x or 6c, 30c etc are homeopathic remedies made from the Nux Vomica plant.

Okay thanks for the advice, but if some real homeopath could also give some professional advice, it's greatly welcomed.

Oh and this should go without saying to give the drugs a rest. Is your drug use purely recreational or do you also use it to self medicate? Avena Sativa is a very helpful remedy for easing dependence on drugs if you have an ongoing problem.

No it was purely recreational. I'm not an addict, i don't have cravings either to restart.

That was quite a cocktail for someone who is not a hardcore user... or anyone for that matter. Make sure to drink plenty of water, 1000mg of vitamin C daily would not go a miss to aid your recovery. Good luck.

Hello David68, do you also advise Nux Vomica and Berberis Vulgaris for Hepatitis A?

Hi David68,

I would like to clarify the doses you have stated above. Are you saying Nux Vom 6x and Berberis Vulgaris 6x should be taken together? Like 3 pills of each = 6 pills twice daily (12 pills in a day) for a week?

My friend is suffering from similar reactions and I would like to help him with homeopathy but he is a skeptic. I would still like to suggest the correct doses to him in the hopes that ge will give it a try.
