The ABC Homeopathy Forum
Autism
My son is 3.5 years old and diagnosed with autism. He is very delayed in receptive and expressive language, he doesn’t play appropriately and sleeps less for his age. My homeopath suggested silica 1 dose and then sac lac twice for a month. I have read that sack ac is only a filler so probably she is waiting for silica to work for one month and then she will mostly put him in thuja. How long does homeopathy takes to cure autism and is it possible?Duggu0105 on 2018-07-18

He is only 3.5 years old and non verbal. We can’t say for sure whether he is talented or not but he surprises us with some appropriate words. He also can put puzzles, match colours and make blocks....recognises some pictures in book and love to look at picture books.
He is not aggressive towards anyone but very affectionate, gives lots of kisses and hugs to family and teachers.
He sometimes covers his ears not necessarily at noisy place but anywhere. He also spins some times not very frequently.
Since last two months we are struggling with lots of OCD type behaviour. First he didn’t want to sleep at his usual bed(it’s better now) then he wouldn’t bath or go to swimming pool(he used to love water), wouldn’t come out of his pram, no playing in park(it’s getting better now, still some days he wouldn’t come out of his pram to play, we have stopped going to swimming pool, bathing is ok now). Now he wants television to be on all the time(he doesn’t mind what’s coming but it has to be on), he will keep checking on tv if it’s on when we go to sleep. He will cry for the whole day if we switch off the tv, this is really limiting his activities and sleep.
Currently we are struggling with TV obsession(he is fine even if I put some instrumental music without video, but TV has to be on with some sound), sleep problem and no language.
