Shoulder joint AC grade 3 injury
Hi,I fell hard on my right shoulder as the result of this fall the ligaments keeping my clavicle and shoulder together got completely torn off and the clavicle bone poped up a bit.
It's been 2 weeks and I don't have any major pain issues but the orthopedic doctors are suggesting surgery to restore the ligaments otherwise I will never be able to lift anything and my shoulder will never have same power again.
It's AC Grade 3 shoulder dislocation
I am young and don't want to have any surgery done on me.
Please help

Majority of cases of Ligament Tear resolves within four weeks of injury and the patient can return back to normal level of activities but in some severe cases it may take up to 12-16 weeks for full recovery from a Ligament Tear.A waiting time of 12 weeks has been suggested
Grade I and II injuries are treated nonoperatively. Grade IV, V and VI injuries are treated surgically. There is some controversy in the management of grade III injuries as to whether surgical or nonoperative management is best.
WAIT FOR 12-16 DAYS.
