Need a relieving remedy for cold, cough, nasal discharge etc
Dear friends,I have been suffering from cold for the last few days. Severe coughing (sometimes yellow expectoration or else dry), nasal discharge (yellow from both nostrils), troubled breathing, both nostrils open now, previously one of the two nostrils would be blocked from breathing and open up, sequentially, troubled speaking and mild hoarseness.
Nasal discharge and expectoration starts after morning wake up and continues multiples times throughout the day until I go to sleep at night. Feels better after morning bath. Severe coughing before sleep at night. Love to remain in bed for rest. Previously there was headache but not now at the moment. No expectoration currently and strong dry cough. Have constipation. Normally easy defecation in the morning but because of cold, there would be no urge for bowel movement in the morning but strong urge for defecation in the evening. The amount of stool is less than that it would be normally. Today not having problem sitting under ceiling fan air. Previously would feel chilled and cold when the air from ceiling fan touch the body.
I am able to have my regular meals everyday in the right amounts or volume and also drink plenty of water everyday. The local homeopathy doctor once gave me bryonia 200 (liquid soaked in white
round pellets in a very small bottle), 10 pellets 3-4 times a day and that worked just fine. Will I still take bryonia 200 under such symptoms? Or any one of you could suggest a better medicine since I am suffering heavily from the above-mentioned symptoms.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
You can google Ainsworths Remedy Finder and
Click under cold/ flu. They have a series of questions
And then list the top matching remedies. Start
With a 30c of the top remedy. Wait and watch
For results. Take a second dose when you feel
Remedy is no longer acting. If your symptoms
Become aggravated after a dose, then wait
As that should wear off and there should be relief
After.

To moderator:
For a group of common acute issues,
I find the Ainsworths questions are direct
And SIMPLE to answer, whereas the remedy
Finder on here? If you put in pain, or click
An area of symptoms, it then goes into too
Much detail and that detail is not a crucial
Part of the case. People new to homeopathy
Can get lost easily.
