Regressive Autism
Hi,My son is 4.5yrs (around 40lbs and 3ft 5inches). He was diagnosed with autism at 2yrs of age. He was progressing well until 15-16 months after which he started regressing. He used to imitate us, look at us and play ball and even say some words. All that was lost within few months. We are currently doing biomed and has done CEASE (MMR and FLU - going to start DTAP soon) but haven't seen much gains. Following are his behaviors:
- He is very hyperactive - keeps running around the room flapping his hands and walking on toes.
- He puts everything in his mouth - paper, toys, decorations, remote etc.
- He is a picky eater as texture is a problem for him.
- In speech, he is repeating after us (even 4-5 word sentences such as 'what are you doing') and does sing nursery rhymes but not very clear. He is unable to express himself/communicate otherwise. If he wants something, he pulls us to that area and tries to point to the object.
- He keeps touching his genitals and taking his pants off. He is not aware of his surroundings and, hence, does not care whether he is at a public place or not.
- He does not understand concepts or directions. He can follow max 2 step directions but that too only the ones that have been practiced multiple times.
- He knows alphabets and numbers but cannot do patterns and matching. He likes to do puzzles and can do new puzzles (10-15 pieces max) also by himself.
Can you please suggest if we can try any homeopathy remedies for the above?

- I am unable to get Calc Phos 3x in US. Only one I see is Calc Phos 6x. Can we use 6X instead of 3x? What should be the dosage for that?
- I have ordered Stram 200 also. What is the dosage for that?

Hello Sir,
I wanted to provide an update as it is 7 days since we started the above pellets.
- His biting has reduced a bit but is still there. He usually bites when he is excited and hyperactive
- He is still putting almost everything in mouth - especially paper and clothes
- He is pinching/squeezing others a lot now as if he is seeking pressure in his hands/arms.
- He takes out is genitals while sitting on couch without noticing if he is in a private or public place.
- He is very hyperactive - keeps running around the room flapping his hands and walking on toes
- He covers his ears with his hands on any loud noise or even in anticipation (e.g. if we go to mall or a friend's place, he covers his ears before going in itself)
- He is a picky eater as texture is a problem for him
- No change in his speech
Please let us know if we should continue with the same remedies or change.

- no interest in playing with other kids
- vocal stimming : keeps on singing nursery rhymes or Mickey Mouse songs
- does not want to walk and likes to be carried or in stroller when outside
- covers his ears if we go to new place or someone visits us
