unusal skin condition on face

1. What is the main reason you need treatment?

On left cheek, I have a skin lesion that gradually developed over 1 to 2 months in March/April 2020. Photos attached. Initially they were more reddish/pink. But since September 2020 they have been mostly unchanged (last pic). They initially formed as separate parts and then became are linear but with healthy skin between them. One of the lesions goes up to the left eyelid.

After biopsy they feel it could be either Discoid lupus (only limited to skin), lichen planus or localised scleroderma (morphea). Blood test for any systemic disease are negative.




2. Describe your complaints giving the following details: a. what does it feel like? And b. When does it happen? And c. What sort of things make it worse?

These are little purple in colour when seen in bright light. It goes to the Eyelid. I can’t see any visual changes on the eyelid but sometimes I feel discomfort only in left eyelid.

Mainly there is no major sensation change but sometimes may be 1 to 2 times a week there is some burning sensation particularly in the evenings, following exertion. Exposure to quite cold weather or bright sun heat creates some burning sensation.



d. What sort of things makes it better?

Having rest and sleep.


e. What else was happening when it first appeared?

In May 2019 – father died after 6 months suffering from bowel malignancy
In April 2019 – a baby daughter was born
April 2020- Working in hospital and coronavirus started.


f. Describe the quality of the pain, being as creative as you can. How would someone else imagine the pain happening to them?

Sometimes burning sensation in the lesion and discomfort feeling in the eyelid- On average 1 to 2 times/week in the evenings.


h. Do any other symptoms occur immediately before, during or after?
None

3. What illnesses have you had in the past?


Backache about 5 years ago, sciatica about 10 years ago. The pain was in both left and right leg but mostly right leg affected.


4. What illnesses run in the family?

None

5. What do people die from in the family?


Mostly natural death.


6. What medication are you on?


I have tried graphities 30 for 5 weeks. Silica Terra 30 and rhus tox 30 for about 4 weeks and now taking sulphur 30 c and arsenic album 30c since 3 weeks.


7. What foods do you crave, whether you allow yourself to eat them or not? List from the strongest craving to the weakest.

Moderately vegetarian spicy food Milk
Sweets sometimes


8. What foods do you have an aversion to? (hatred or repulsion for)

None.


9. What is your level of thirst, and what do you prefer to drink?

Normal. But I have a habit of drinking water regularly through the day

10. What foods aggravate you? (including )

Don’t know

11. Do you suffer from any digestive complaints? What is your bowel habit like?

None. I open my bowels everyday

12. What is your level of energy like? Rate it from 1-10 (10 being excellent). How does your energy fluctuate throughout the day (and night)?

6 to 7

Energy levels starts increasing from morning and later in the evening are low. Night I prefer to go to bed.

13. What is your level of sexual energy like?

Normal

14. How is your sleep? What position do you prefer to sleep in? Is there any position you cannot sleep in? Any unusual behaviour during sleep?

I like sleeping for at least 8 hours. I prefer to sleep on the back. No unusual behaviour

15. Have you had any reoccurring dreams or images/ pictures/ themes that repeat themselves in your dreams? Please describe.

Random dreams but no pattern or theme


17. How does the weather affect you? Are you sensitive to the temperature in any way?


I like warm and hot weather. Feel cold in feet in winter/spring/autumn. Like to go for a walk in cold weather but while sitting still feel cold indoors. Like to sleep with a duvet and well covered up


18. Is there anything else in the environment you are sensitive to, perhaps more so than the people around you?

I am an introvert. Feel anxious when speaking in large groups or in meetings.




21. What was your childhood like? Describe your parents and your relationship with them. Describe your relationship with your siblings and other extended family members. Did anything in your childhood have a profound effect on you?

Childhood was happy. I can’t recall much of it. I was very much loved by my parents and had good relationship with siblings

22. Describe the romantic relationship you are currently in. What causes the most problems between you?

I have been married for about 20 years. She is very supportive. Sometimes difference in opinion is problematic but it is not a major problem

23. What is your self-confidence like? When is your confidence at its worst?

Self-confidence is low to medium. However, when I am challenged it reduces and I feel nervous and anxious.

24. What fears do you have? Do you have any phobias? What things in life do you have trouble facing?

No fears but I generally worry about the well-being of my family and children.


27. What do you do to relax?


Watch TV; sometimes listen to music, sleep. Sometimes meet friends.


Weight and Height: 79Kg and 169cm. Medium built

Can anybody recommend a doctor of homeopathy with expertise in skin condition. In India or in the UK. Thank you in anticipation
