Trauma chest Dog
My German shepherd was accidentally hit by a car tire. We took him to emergency vet hospitalDrained his chest cavity, gave him oxygen, stayed two days in hospital.
He had two fractured ribs and apparently there’s still fluid in chest cavity the vet is saying blood.
Any suggestions what to give
thank you

Hi I’ve been working with the remedies you suggested for 3 days now, it took a while to get kali mur it’s a tissue salt in 6 DH, is that okay ?
The dogs breathing doesn’t seem to be any better and that makes me wonder if the fluid (blood) in the chest cavity is going away
He seems to have a lot of anxiety and I’s constantly liking his paws and moving around the house to lay in different positions
Also very tired.
He’s eating drinking and doing peeing and pooping normally!
Just wondering what to do next or continue on

Hi just an update on my German Shepard Rambo.
I’ve followed your protocol with the remedies. He seems to have settled down quite a bit.
He’s still very nervous since the accident, his breathing is still pretty heavy when he’s at rest, which makes me wonder about the fluid ( blood) in the chest cavity. I’m praying that it has been resolved. He ps been sleeping a lot. He’s very hot and it has been very hot here in Ontario Canada and he hates the heat, so we take him to the lake and he lives fetching sticks and cooling off.
He’s appetite is great and peeing and bowl movements normal.
I’m winded glad what to do next.
Thank you so much
Colleen

Hi I am very happy to report that Rambo was at the vet for a follow up appointment today and the ultrasound showed that there was no accumulated fluid in his chest!
