Painful mucus cough and chest pain and difficulty breathing
My mother, 64, after a week of sore throat, has been complaining of severe painful and mucus filled cough for the last two days, and pain in the chest when breathing. She has difficulty breating.Right side lung hurts more than left side...
She does not seem to end her sentences, sometimes 5 seconds, sometimes 10...
She looks dull and fatigued and stressed, and doesnt communicate much (in normal times she does)
She has just lost smell right now.
The doctor has put her on antibiotics saying its bronchitis.
She will get her covid test report tomorrow.
Can she take anything for the painful cough and painful chest and difficulty of breathing?
She was vaccinated against covid. Updated : the test is POSITIVE.
My brother and his wife who live with her also have been tested covid psotiive last week

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If you are positive here in USA, and high risk, you can get the Regeneron antibodies. Very successful in keeping people from needing hospital.Don’t know what France does on this-hope your relatives have mild cases.

I saw you were having a homeopath prescribe for them? That’s best if you are not able to get in touch with Maheeru right now.

Maheeru's advice is always the best I can ever get, but as he is away for some time, I had to resort to my French homeopath... Hopefully she got the treatment right (Merc Sol 15C).
Thank you for the inputs Simone. Very much appreciated :-)
