Adult picky eater with emotional distress

My husband is a very picky eater. He can't handle certain textures and a lot of times will opt for snack food instead of real food because he just can't handle eating different things. He has some emotional issues I'd like to mention in case that has anything to do with the issue. He has an anger problem, mildly ocd, has trouble finishing tasks he starts, extreme social anxiety and all these emotions come off as anger.

If there's anything any ody could recommend he is willing to try anything!

Thanks 😊

He is 30.
He doesn't like the taste of food.
He says there have been no stressors to cause this. His family life as a child was rigid, a mother that was not motherly or nurturing, a father who was extremely rigid. No security in his home lots of time alone.
He loves sweets and candy.
