Stools very hard. Difficult to expel

Hi,

The past 2 days, am having difficulty in passing stools. Stools are very hard, need to push and withdraw and push for couple of times and then it finally passes. After the bowel movement there is severe pain in the rectum and heaviness in the head because of the strain.

Am 67 years old.
Treatment for enlarged prostate - 74 cc and beginning of Diabetes - 141 mg on fasting.
Medicines currently being used is Conium Mac & Acid phos.

Do not know the reason for the stool being hard. Consume enough water plus fibre. Walking and yoga daily in the morning except on Sundays.

I would be grateful to the doctors on this site for addressing my concern.

Thanks in advance
