chronic eczema- reactions to acidic foods Page 3 of 3

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Just an after thought.

I don't remember requesting you to wash your hair with Arnica water. If you have not already done so you can go ahead with this experiment after gently shampooning it with Johnsons Baby Shampoo and washing it as usual and after drying it partially doing a final wash with Arnica water into which you have put in 3 pellets. This may just do the trick.

I stopped using shampoo today, just plain water. soap appears to be too drying for now. I have been rinsing some of the arnica water into my scalp because it relieves the dryness and scaliness for awhile. hopefully it will pass soon.

today after lunch I noticed that my hand turned angry red again. you could feel heat coming off the hand as well, will see what it does tonight and tomorrow. Had tofu with tumeric for lunch. the tofu may have been a mistake.

Joe-

Something else that I probably have not made very clear. My eczema is related to digestion, it gets worse or better depending on what I eat and how well i degest food. Vinegar and lamb caused me very bad reactions and did eggs. not sure what my reactions are like know as I avoid these foods. Even if I overeat, the the food takes a long time to clear my stomach, and I feel back pressure. yesterday for example, I ate too much at lunch, because I did not want to waste food my wife made for me. Within an our of eating, i noticed i developed a strong body odor, and the flaking got worse.

My intuition tells me that my body is unable to properly digest food, and thereby generates carbon dioxide or other 'gases' which back up either through the lymph system or the blood itself, into other parts of my body, and then is expelled as a clear sticky substance...

arnica appears to trigger a purging of some sort, but so far it has been localized. my hand one day, then my forehad, then one side of my head, today the other. do you have anythoughts on this?

It seems a pity that I did not ask you about your digestion and I believe that you have provided the answer.

I believe that Nat Phos 6x will help you and perhaps be the remedy that will heal your Eczema. You will find that your food will be digested quicker and there will be no discomfort after a meal. This remedy neurtalizes the lactic acid in your system and helps to maintain it in a better state of equilibrium.

Dose is 2 tablets taken 3 times daily after meals.

yes, i bought some at lunch, and after reading a bit about it online, decided to go ahead and try it. I felt better within minutes, and the redness and heat of the eczema on my hand began to fade. A bit of good luck that you suggested it, it seems to fit well.

my digestion is probably the key, it has always been week. for years i suffered candida overgrowth and bad sinus problems, both gone now, but my skin problems got worse. perhaps that is a result of liverflushing, one set of problems replaced with another maybe, i don't know.

My own theory on my exzema is that it results from incomplete digestion... not sure what part of my degestion is weak though, pancreatic enzymes, hydrocloric acid in the stomach...

is there more information I could give you that would help give a better picture?

I have sent tonights pics of my hand via email.

Thanks Joe,
John

Glad you are on the road to recovery with the Nat Phos and Arnica therapy.

I was interested to learn about your exploits with Liver flushing which I am aware is poular in the US. I believe that it only make the experimenter very sick with diarrhoea and serves no purpose other than to shock the system with the Epsom salt and the Olive oil which I believe are the ingredients of this foolishness. You have experienced the result which I am sure was not pleasant. For the record how long ago did you carry out this experiment ?

Email pictures not received.

Joe-

the liverflushing had many positive results for me. my digestion did improve, i cleared chronic sinusitis, headaches, and fatigue... but, my skin issues only got worse. So, it was a mixed bag for me.

my last flush was in the spring I think, so it has been 5 months I believe.

Joe-

This is today's update. Like I mentioned via email, my 3 day fishing trip appears to have no adverse effect on the eczema, despite drinking too much beer and bad food, and the cold weather ect. Last year when I went on a similar trip, my hand was raw, red and ozing puss... it looked like a burn. this year nothing. Full disclosure, I have also been working on desensitizing food allergy reactions through kinesiology, but, I think that has had at most a minor role in the change of my ezema.

the hand continues to be dry, but no itch, no puss, and the redness is gradually dimishing. in other words, the progress continues.

here is a pic i took this morning on my office computer, not as clear as my home camera, but I think it shows the progress.

Thank you for sharing your progress on the ABC with members who may be perhaps interested to see visual evidence that my Joepathy really does work when other classically generated remedies did not.

It would be of historical interest if you can share the photographs that you sent me by email on this forum starting with your hands which were in a gory mess at the commencement of the therapy to what they are today.

It may serve to open the eyes of disbelievers who demand proof that my Joepathy is not a dream that I have been trying to foist on others.

Joe-

I need to work out how to post those, they are quite large in file size, bigger than allowed by posting rules... give me some time and I will figure it out.

last update. just posting this so that anyone reading this thread is aware of the fact that I stopped arnica and instead switched to a remedy based on my totality of symptoms, lycopodium.

after the last pic i posed above I experienced another bad flare-up and decided to try the classical approach instead. Lycopodium was my choice and it as worked very very well so far, though time will also tell if it is my 'cure'.
