Medication for pet dogs hip displacea
I would like to know whether homeopathy is effective on animals and if so, my 8month old labrador puppy has hip displacea which the doctor says is a hereditary defect which becomes evident only when the pups development is complete by 7-8months.- He has problems standing up from lying position.
- Appears to have accasional pain.
- Cannot run for very long.
- Walks and runs slightly crooked. Cannot jump or stand on hind legs.
- Slips regularly while playing on the floor in the house.
Till a month back he was fine. He likes to eat home food like warm roti's, toast, milk, boiled vegetables[potato, peas] apples. He prefers all this over his branded dog food.
Pls advise medication. Aklso if others have had similar experience pls share.

Animals respond very well to homeopathy, and yes, may help with hip dysplasia. I don't have any suggestions for you, but Don Hamilton devotes a section of his book to it: 'Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs'. Perhaps someone here will have some thoughts. Apparently the treatment can be similar to arthritis.
