Cell Salts -- Too costly.

Dear All,

The cell salts available in Homeo shops are very costly compared to the regular homeopathic medicines.
The smallest bottle ( 3X, 6X, 12X) cost around Rs.35/-.

If i take one cell salt tablet (say 3X) from the bottle , put it in one cup of water and agitate it vigourously, would'nt i get a cell salt medicine of
slightly higher potency? maybe 5x Or 6X. If take one teaspoon of this medicine, will it work out?

I was just wondering whether it will have the same efficiency as that of the ready made one?
can somebody explain in detail?

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
They are prepared in a similar way to homeopathic remedies. The salt is mixed with nine parts of lactose (milk sugar) and ground in a mortar and pestle, one part of this mixture is mixed with nine further parts of lactose and the process is repeated six times, until the required dilution of 6x is reached. Through this process of grinding (trituration) and dilution the salt becomes potentised or energised into an active substance. The powder is then made into small tablets, which dissolve very easily under the tongue

If one, two or three tablets of a cell salt are dissolved in water and a little of it is taken as a dose 3, 4 times a day makes no difference. The efficiency will not drop and is the best way to save the medicine.
