This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
My alcohol preference is vodka or amaretto liquor. I do not like beer very much, I get bloated too fast.
I drink one glass of wine on special occasions.I get drunk pretty fast, even with one glass.Vodka or Amaretto are easier on my system.

I do not drink coffee.

However, I like 70% chocolate. If I eat more than 2 squares (20g) of it, I start to have a slight foggy headache or my heart beats a bit faster.

I like all the condiments except hot peppers.
Ketchup is prefered, then mustard, mayonaise, relish. I love pickles (sweet more than aneth).

you mentioned in past posting "need to drink pepsi"---what exactly is menat by this?why need?

what type of chocolate you have preferance for?

how much antibiotic use in health history?when (dates)?reason(s)?

John Stanton 2 decades ago
will any other food or drink effect you as chocolate does (as you explained)?

John Stanton 2 decades ago
I like to drink pepsi for its carbonated content and also the taste.I love the feeling of the bubbles going down my throat! I could drink any other carbonated drink, like 7-up, but I do not bother. I like it cold. I started to drink Perrier (carbonated water) to have a bit of change from water itself.

When I was a kid, I would love cold drinks like chocolate milk. I would drink very cold and in one shot! I would crave cold drinks.

Even to this day, I do not like hot drinks very much.

I prefer 70% Lindt chocolate because it is less sweet.

As a child (infant to 8 years old), I think I had much antibiotics given to me because of ear infections (otitis media).

Not much else after that, that I can remember right now.

Oh, by the way, I fired my homeopath...

Regarding chocolate effect: Now that you make me think of it, too much sugar will do that as well.

salem 2 decades ago
in what way did you "fire your homoeopath"? how did you go about this?what were your feelings while conveying your message to her? any regrets at all?

John Stanton 2 decades ago
what else can you say concerning ear infections? and tha period of life?

John Stanton 2 decades ago
I sent her an e-mail, stating that I needed a bit more than what has given me so far.

Actually, I feel a bit anxious, because I feel like a rebel. And yet I feel relief because I finally will go and get what I really need. No regrets!

I think my homeopath was part of an old pattern that happens to me once every 3 years or so: I try to connect so hard with people who cannot connect with me emotionally for whatever reason. So, every time I break the spell, I am free!

how do react/feel during /after crying?please explain

please explain all/any 'real' fears you have...

how sexually minded are you?please explain

Until 10 years old, I do not remember much. I can only tell you what my mom said to me.
I can only remember one instance when I was in dire pain (3 or 4 y.o.)...but would stay silent because my dad was looking at me very angry and I did not want to upset him even more.

I have lots of memory "black outs" until 13 years old for sure.

At 3 years old....that was a very difficult time. That is when I made my first decision in life: to be quiet because my sister would scream all the time and I could see that my mom was getting upset by her screams.

I cry easily but hate it to a passion. I was told all the time that I am sensitive... therefore no one would tell me anything as to not emotionally disturb me too much.

My eyes take a long time now to be ok after crying: my vision gets blurred, my eyelids are swollen and my forehead gets hot for 24 hours.

Fears?

I am afraid of spiders and butterflies and moths (all insects!).

Afraid of confrontations; of success.

I do not go to funerals because I am more upset than anyone else in there.

I am not confortable around tall people.

Sexuality: my mind has to be in control so I can manage to relax enough to eventually enjoy being touched. My legs are very sensitive to the touch...a light tap is painful enough to wince. It is the skin which is very sensitive.
I cannot tolerate much pressure on my legs.

I always go through a certain level of pain (at the skin level) until I am sexually aroused enough that I will forget to be in control. Then I am somewhat ok. Cannot achieve penetration.

you feel better or worse after crying? hatred occur during crying? is this real feeling (hatred)?

please explain last circumstance actually cried..

John Stanton 2 decades ago
Emotionnally I feel better after crying, about the subject in question.

But I do get angry at myself for crying so easily or too long.
I do not want to cry but cannot help it. Therefore I get angry at the onset of crying. Sometimes I project it to the person who listens to me, or shut down totally with no eye contact (shame).

The last circumstance was when my aunt called me to tell me that my dad had fallen and broken 3 ribs. She was urging me to go visit him before he dies.
Obviously that woke up all kinds of emotions within me. I have not seen my dad in at least 5 years.

I feel that my stomach is "stuck"...Like a ball sitting in there, especially after eating.
I have stomach cramps if I am hungry and wait a little too much to eat.
I tend to eat too fast sometimes.
Using kinesiology, I deducted that I could try it.

My homeopath was somewhat slow but I was happy to take it at a slow pace as I understand that you get chronic illness over a period of years, and it will not heal overnight. Some things take a while to come to the fore and we must be patient. As long as I was feeling better, which I was, I told myself to be patient, good things come to those who wait, good thing to remember.

Thanks Salty for your words of wisdom!

Ironically, I find myself becoming more and more impatient and therefore slightly clumsy by the day...Could it be Staphysagria' s effect?

Hello John!

My stomach has always been a bit off over the years. Nothing major...and therefore not bothersome enough to warrant medication.

The main thing I do is make sure I eat every 4 hours, so I will not bloat or cramp if I am too hungry.

I often force myself to eat slower and a bit less, which is not easy for me!

10 Years ago I stopped drinking cold water(which I would crave) so my stomach would have a chance functioning better. I do not crave cold water anymore as I am well trained now.

One reason why I am trying the digestive capsules is that it could make me less tense after I eat so the BP could stay lower (my way of thinking...).
Oftentimes, I bloat after eating and have gas.

salem 2 decades ago
what foods /drinks noticed cause more bloating than others?

what foods/drinks dont effect bloating at all?

John Stanton 2 decades ago
Carbonated drinks bloat me much.
Food? Pizza dough, regular pasta, greasy meat like ribs.

Definitely eating too much will bloat me.

Mixing too many food types is a sure bloater.

Food and drink with no effects: room temperature water, juices (I rarely drink that), fruits, veggies, wild rice pasta, some meats like chicken, turkey, lamb.

Eating Junk fook makes me heavy and lethargic and sometimes bloated but not always.

Hello everyone!

I went to see a new homeopath today...

He suggests that I continue staphysagria #6 for 3 more weeks at the dosage I am taking (4 pellets/day), to make a total of 6 weeks of taking staph.

After that he will reassess the case altogether depending on what I want to improve then.He surmises that the effects of staph, like anger bursting and increased impatience, are not out of control and do not last too long to warrant stopping the remedy.

(My initial complaint was headaches during periods and Nat. Mur. took care of that.)

John,

By asking about my stomach...it makes me be more aware and therefore I will bring it to the fore when I will be reassessed.
