Headache Pain

Can we call "Headache pain" when technically Headache is pain.

We can say pain in head ie. Headache

Can we say pain in Headache.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Yes.But better if you can differentiate what type of pain,throbbing,bursting,etc..etc.

Thank you very much for your kind response.

Headache is already related to pain so don't you think in professional manner it is wise to say "I am feeling headach pain" or is this correct "I am feeling headache"

Patient tells the symptom in his own words. It is upto you to seek any clarifications you want.Don't expect the patient to be a master in jugglery of words.

Ache = pain

that is how you have :

Head ache

Stomach ache

That was also my point. Head Ache is same as Pain in Head. Headache pain is wrong. I have seen homeopaths saying "headache pain in general" as a ruberic. This was also written in a book. SO this is wrong.

Oh my, another silly point to argue. I'll go with the one that we listen to the patient's interpretation.

I had migrain headaches for 35 years. Went everywhere, every kind of doctor. Was treated like a nurotic woman with young children. Was acused of being a drug addict. (never!) Finally a phychiatrist leaned over and condesendingly said, "I think it may be all in your head." And I leaned over, looked him right in the eye and replied, "We are in perfect agreement dr, NOW WHAT?"

Every time I found a Homeopathic remedy that worked, it worked only once or twice. So, two Homeopathic professionals and one student couldn't figure me out.

Finally Imitrex came along, AFTER the medical profession decided there WAS such a thing as migrains and women wern't ALL nurotic.

They stopped after menopause, and I cannot take hormone replacements.

Ah yes, let us get wound up in the semantics of how to say it while the patient suffers the pain of the damned. Sabra

LOL means Laugh out Loud. I don't know about :D:D, but he put a :) after so it is friendly. I can't blame him, I can't believe how angry I and other women are at MDs and drs in general. We now go to the drs in twos to witness for one another. No matter what we wish, MDs. are still needed. Now if they felt the same, wouldn't it be great?

Thanks for your kind words here and there. Sabra
