Yes dr. deoshlok is right, we have been using Inf. in cold flu viral disease successfuly. He has shared his experience here which is appreciated. However, doses frequency can be reduced keeping in view the patient condition.

I have to agree that Influenzinum has been a good remedy for the treatment of Influenza. I practice in Mexico as well as in California and I am using antihomotoxic remedies as well. A remedy containing Asclepias is also a good choice.

Dr Deslok Sharma prescription is quite correct and worth following.

What Do I Need to Know About Swine Flu?

What is swine flu?

It is a lot like our seasonal flu but it usually only affects pigs. This one, swine influenza A (H1N1), is affecting humans who have not been exposed to pigs. This suggests there might be human-to-human transmission. The mode of transmission is presumably respiratory droplets.

If I had the flu shot, am I protected?
No. The swine H1N1 is very different from the human H1N1 that is in the flu vaccine. Currently there is no human vaccine available for swine flu.

How can I prevent getting the flu?
Similar recommendations as the seasonal flu. You are trying to avoid being exposed to respiratory droplets.

Hand washing or use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers (minimum concentration of 60 percent to 95 percent ethanol or isopropanol).
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth as those are direct entry points for viruses. Viruses can get on your hands when you touch infected objects.
Avoid close contact (6ft) with a sick person.

What are the symptoms?
Symptoms are very similar to the human flu:

Cough
Fever/Chills
Sore throat
Fatigue/Body aches
Decreased appetite
Less commonly: runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea

Is there treatment for swine flu?
YES, Tamiflu and Relenza (both prescription medications) work on this virus but it needs to be started in the first 48 hours of symptoms. So it is important to contact your doctor right away if you have symptoms.

If I think I have the flu, what should I do?
STAY HOME and contact your physician right away. This is not the time to be 'tough' and go into work or school nor is it the time to travel. If you see your doctor, they might do a swab of your nose or mouth to confirm the virus with the CDC. Your doctor would start you on treatment based on your symptoms and likelihood of having the illness. Don't be alarmed if your doctor's office has a sign posted, like in the SARS days, that tells you to put on a mask if you have flu-like symptoms. This is a routine precaution during an outbreak to protect health care workers as well as other patients in the office. We are all just being extra careful.

COVER YOUR COUGH and avoid close contact with others. You should maintain a distance of 6 ft between you and other people, even family members. If you need to COUGH or SNEEZE, cover it with a tissue and throw the tissue away. Alternatively if you have no tissue available, you can cough or sneeze into the elbow of your sleeve. You are trying to avoid spreading infected respiratory droplets around that others could pick up.

Is there reason to panic?
No. The CDC and WHO have a good handle on the situation and are establishing a state of preparedness

3.'influenzinum 200 is not harmless medicine.. ' This means it is harmful.
'it does not effect any where in your body...' This part means this remedy is quite useless. Frankly 'dr' you are not making any sense here.

What about Oscillo for prevention? And what is it called when you take a few pellets of a remedy and put in bottled water and shake, and then take a little daily? Does this process make the remedy weaker or stronger? I've seen that on this forum before. Would Oscillo be for prevention, or would you wait until you have early stages? I have that on hand and have a family of 7, one being only 3 months old. We are still waiting for results to come in where I live, but there are some suspected cases. How long do you have to take a remedy for prevention? I saw your first post, is it always 7 days?

Influenzinum 200 just one dose in some mortal disease may not be enough for wait and watch attitude.

I have seen many cases when Influenzinum 200 was prescribed for some days cured the patient and none was ever hospitalized.

I do not understand why to give virus related remedies when the virus is not there in the body. They mark harm the person in Short or long term.

Influenzinum is further related to only Inluenza. Swan flue is not only Influenza but much more then that.

I suggested to many friends to give biochemic remedy -- ferrum phos 30x 4 pills daily till the danger of swan flue is there.

All those who are using this remedy are so far safe.

In one family where flue was there to one person, he was cured by using 2/3 homeo/bioch. remedies depending upon the symptons but the other family members are taking ferrum phos 30x. so far they all are safe so far and appears to be well protected from this virus.

This is just for your inormation. in case some-body wants to take advantage of these safe pills to protet from the inflience of flue.

This remedy was tried 10 years back for pink eye - conjunctivitis and the response was 100%.

I was watching baba ramdev's programme to-day in the morning. he described
swan flue to be quite different to erlier flue. swan flue changes its mood
and impact in the body system. it affects throat, sometimes liver,
respiratoy system and sometimes brain. whereas flue earlier was giving
fever, bod ache and sometimes chest congestion.

'influemzum' was made from the influenza flue virus vaccine and so its
resistence is only to the extent of influenza. i do not how much it will be
effective to swan flue.

I suggested 'Ferrum phos 30x' because it gives you enough of oxygen to fight
with any virus/infection before it enters in the body system. it is an
oxygen carrier and if taken in lower potency it increases red blood cells.

Damage done to the body system after the virus enters the body is to be
treated differently.

Kindly explain more about dosages :
what is the meaning of one dose (how many drops of Influenzinum & Thuja in each dose) in case of 5-15yrs & 15 yrs onwards.

Have you used Eupatorium Perfoliatum 200c in the Wet dose to treat all Flus with fever which are usually due to a Virus infection?

I first used it for Dengue and discovered that it was 99% effective and would change the outlook of the patient who is sometimes dying with a Platelet count of 7000 and who is in a Coma just waiting for the end. I have now treated over 250 patients with this therapy which I shall copy below:

The Remedy is Eupatorium Perfoliatum 200c and this can be purchased from any Homeopathic Pharmacy in the Liquid Dilution in Alcohol. Eupatorium Perfoliatum 200 is used in the Wet dose taken every 2 hours for the first day and every 3 hours thereafter till the patient is cured.

The Wet dose of any Homeopathic remedy is made as follows:

Order the remedy in the Liquid pack in Alcohol, also referred to as Liquid Dilution in a bottle preferably with a dropper arrangement.
Get a 500ml bottle of Spring Water from the nearest supermarket.
Pour out about 3cm of water from the bottle to leave some airspace.
Insert 3 drops of the remedy Tinto the bottle and shake the bottle hard at least 6 times before you sip a capfull of the bottle or a large teaspoonful which is the dose.
Shaking the bottle hard is homeopathic succussion and this enhances the effect of the remedy on the user.


I would like to add that this remedy is very effective to treat the current Virus which causes severe COUGHING in the patient.

I had this cough myself up to about 10 days ago for a fortnight and used various remedies including Amoxyl 500mg thrice daily as I feared some infection of my lungs which were whistling and could be heard without the stethoscope.

I used Eupat Perf 200 in the Wet dose and discovered that my coughing STOPPED in 48 hours.

I would appreciate if you too will prescribe it and report results.

Nice Sharing... In Bangladesh there are many young Homeo doctors how like to prescribe 1M power frequently for 15 days or 1 month in some chronic cases (1m power remedy 5 drops 2 times a day)!!!!!! I observed such things in my Father in Law for enlargement of prostate gland.

I also asked the doctor that this high power medication may be harmful for anybody n classical homeopathy never supports such kind of medications.

Doctor replayed that now in Bangladesh there are many kinds of poisoning and pollution increasing day by day (food poisoning, air pollution... etc). That's why without this kind of medication sometime we couldn't find expected output.

Is it correct???

I am indeed very surprised that classical homeopaths prescribe remedies in the 1M potency for use daily for long periods. The case you recorded of your F in L using a remedy '(1m power remedy 5 drops 2 times a day)' for enlargement of the Prostate is of interest but you did not mention what the remedy prescribed was and I would like to know the reaction of your FIL to this therapy.

In his own interest, I would advise you to request him to STOP using this method irrespective of what the homeopath has prescribed.

that was just my example. My FiL just did his surgery, because of, after 5-6 month homeo treatment there was no good result n at last he went for laparoscopic surgery of enlarged prostate. Now he is much better.

But sabal Q did a very good job for him.

May be his 1m remedy was 'conium'

I also got some tens & after 1 week forced my FiL to stop taking such kind of high potency remedy in frequent doses.

I was interested to learn that your FIL had a Laparoscopic Prostatectomy done 6 months ago.

I am 84 years of age and have also had a Retropubic Prostatectomy done in 2002 in Columbus OH. I was informed by the surgeon that he did not recommend a Laparoscopic surgery as the standard open surgery was far safer.

I note that he is still taking Sabal Q and would like to know the reason why he is doing so. In my case I was free of all symptoms immediately after surgery and am fully recovered today although in 2008 I had some problem and am now taking Conium 6c in the Wet dose once daily.

If you would like to give me more details of your FIL's problems today, I may be able to help him.

after surgery, he is not taking sabal q. Now he is totally normal.

For high BP he is taking only Rauwolfia Q 15 drops in morning & Creatagus Q 15 drops at night. But he has a much gap between systolic & diastolic bp... 140/65, sometimes 150/70... What you suggest???


Yeah... You may know about Bangladesh!!! Here most of the doctors are always ready to take the huge amount of money from his/her patient by any means. That's why we've to go for Laparoscopic Prostatectomy....

For his Hypertension I would prefer that he does not take both Rauwolfia Q and Crataegus Q on a daily basis as the results can be counter productive.

If you can give me his BP without taking any drugs or Homeopathic remedies I can then advise you.

What is the reason for the Crataegus Q? Does he suffer from any Cardiac ailments?

(1.) what will the counting of drop in one dose of influenzium-200 and thuja for more then 15 years old people?
