Homeopathy side effect
Heard homeopathy has side effect of developing skin problems? Does it have any sense? Please provide an expert opinionjyothis1 on 2009-09-26
This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
When somebody has a skin disease, it means that his disease is affecting a less vital organ of the body. Now if somebody treats this skin disease externally, as per the theory of homeopathy the disease may move to more vital organs like the patient may have relief in his skin symptoms and he may acquire liver, respiratory or heart dis-orders. Therefore the homeopathy theory says that treating skin disease externally can be highly suppressive.
Simlilary if a person starts taking a homeoapthic treatment for asthama, he may suffer skin eruptions. Now this is really a good sign, as the disease is moving from a vital organ to a less vital organ. Now this skin eruption will go away in the course of treatment. So you can understand that the statement 'Homeopathy has side effect of developing skin problems' is not true if seen in the right perspective.
But again it is not true that in every treatment of vital organs, skin eruptions will take place.

The following possibilities are there
1. There may not be any skin eruptions.
2. Skin eruptions may break out and pass away on their own.
3. Skin eruptions may break out and stay and another homeopathic remedy is needed to address the new symptom picture.
