Insertional Achilles Tendonitis
The Kent's repertory has only once medicine for at insertion point:tearing: tendo achillis: insertion, at the: Colch.
My question is that can Colchicum help in bone growth at the insertion of achilles tendon? Or it is just for urea related growth.
Usually Ruta, Rhus, Hekla, Calc Flour has been helpful in painful conditions, but not able to recover - I mean reduce size of bone growth/spur.
I did further look ahead in Allen's Materia Medica. I find that possibly Sep, Zinc or Acid Mur can help in it.
Case:
~ Bone growth at insertion of Achilles Tendon
~ Right leg
~ Swells like bump
~ Pain while walking, doing physically exercise
~ Previous symptom: Sudden pain at the beginning of walking intolerable to the extent of tears in eyes (Perhaps reduced by resistance exercise. Rhus might helped in it)
Managed by:
~ Heavy resistance exercise
~ Ice
~ Ruta, Hekla, Rhus, Calc F

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
This is for my wife: I am looking forward to some set of medicines (and sequence), which I can use over period of time.
Recently, I tried to find beyond conventional set of Ruta, Rhus, Hekla, Calc Flour for bone spurs - symptoms. I did explore Boericke, Kent, Clarke and Allen.
Colchicum came closest based on symptoms (Kent, Allen). Colchicum 200 caused severe aggravations in digestive system and heel - unbearable. After 3rd day, digestive symptoms faded. On Achilles Tendon, it is yet to fade. Since Colchicum is more related to Urea build-up, I am bit concerned.

Just an update, aggravation of heel pain faded in one week. The digestive (vomiting, nausea, soreness) faded in three days.
Both aggravations happened just one hour after administering 2nd dose - i.e. three hours after first dose.
Now it is time for me to observe, whether Colchicum is able to help in Calcium Growth at insertion of Achilles Tendon.
Please provide me inputs. Thanks
